Spotlight Review

.

Otome Yokai Zakuro

.
Anime
.

Synopsis
.
.
Otome Youkai Zakuro takes place in an alternate version of Japan's Meiji Era. In this version of history, humans and spirits coexist side by side in the same world. However Japan is becoming more and more influenced by the West, and more people are accepting Western religions as their chosen faith rather than the more traditional Eastern faiths which have dominated the country for many centuries, leading to conflicts between humans and youkai.

To help ease tensions, an organization is established called the Ministry of Spirits made up of a group of male soldiers and a group of female youkai. Unfortunately things don't go as swimmingly as one would hope, as one of the soldiers, Kei Agemaki, is terribly afraid of youkai and one of the spirits, Zakuro, has an extreme dislike for humans who accept practices and traditions from the west. Life for these two is about to become a lot more interesting as they have to learn how to cooperate with their worst enemies!

My review!!!

The Anime that was chosen for this week can be watched on Crunchyroll... Here is a link for you...

Otome Yokai Zakuro

Here is what Crunchyroll has to say...

Demon Girl Zakuro," an ongoing favorite in Gentosha Comics's Monthly "Comic Birz," is being adapted into anime form! Watch Lily Hoshino's gorgeous characters in motion! This story takes place during the Westernization Movement in an alternate world where humans and spirits coexist as young half-spirit girls team up with army officers to battle against spirits who would do wrong! Onward with the spirits!

Now I'm going to link the PV for it!

The link will play the preview and then go right to the first episode.

This is our mix of Characters... Let us meet them.. Shall we?

First up... The center of the story...

This lovely lady is Zakuro... I bet this picture has you wondering how she could hurt someone with such a small stick right??? Trust me she can... But not in a way you would think! Zakuro is complicated but simple too... Watch to learn more about this mysterious half demon!

Next up is....

Kei Agamaki! Here he is out of his uniform... But wait... It's not going to get all hot and heavy though that would be interesting... It has a kiss... Maybe two but that's really it for that kind of thing.

To be honest he has a serious problem right from the start... And that problem could be major if he doesn't get it under control! You should watch to see if he does!

On to the next team-up!

First in that set is...

Susukihotaru! I bet you noticed the stick in her hand... But unlike Sakuro.. She doesn't hurt anyone with it! Bet you wonder why she has one then... Watch to find out what makes this little Half demon so very special! Trust me she is!

Her partner is none other than...

Riken Yoshinokazura... A man of few words! Could there be some romance between them or is it strictly business???

Our last team is the only one with three members in it!
For this reason I will introduce them slightly differently... First up is...

Ganryuu Hanakiri! He is one lucky guy I'd say... The rest of his team are girls after all! So lets meet them now....

That's right! Twins!!! Their names are Bonbori and Hoozuki... Are they cute or what! Will their hearts bloom like cherry blossoms in spring???

They may tell you if you watch the show!

But wait... This isn't all about romance after all... These three teams work together to fix problems between humans and demons! That's right... There really is fighting!

Of all the fighters... Who do you think will be the best!

OK... Now time to rate it

On a scale of 1 to 10 with ten being a "perfect-must-read" rating I give this...

.

I think this is the closest to a perfect score we have gotten!!! I LOVE THIS ANIME!!!
The only problem is that there is only one season that I can find! I want to know what happens to them without having to go find the Manga... Don't get me wrong... I'll eventually read that too but that is besides the point!

Well I hope you enjoyed my attempts at making this entertaining!

As always... Thanx for reading my review!!!
Have a wonderful day!

Dakishimete! Noir

Manga
.
Synopsis
.
.

From AnimeNewsNetwork:
Suzu is a 16 year old girl who's never had a boyfriend and can understand what animals are thinking. She finds an injured cat, Noir and takes it home to care for it. The next morning the cat turns into a boy named Noa. There are people who are trying to capture Noir/Noa by controlling the minds of cats and forcing them to attack Suzu and Noa. Noa is determined to stay with Suzu and asks her to have his child.

Now for my review!!!

The Manga this week is a cute one... but before I get into that.... The synopsis... it says AnimeNewsNetwork but it was actually on MyAnimeList... They had the source written like that so I kept it since I don't want to not have the right permissions or credit where it belongs.... Now on to the review!!! Thank you for dealing with the slight sidetrack! So as it said in the description Noir is a cute kitty-boy... who has fallen for our dear Suzu!

Yes this is the two of them! It gets kinda steamy right?!?!?!

But not all of the things that happen are sex based... check these two pages out...

But alas... All is not sunshine and rainbows for these two... The one thing they didn't count on was other cat people coming after them! Yes that's right... Not all the cats coming after them are actually cats... We find out there are more like Noir at a lab... Oh and we find out what exactly Noir is and why he is so obsessed with Suzu having his babies! Yup... He really asked her for that...

OK... enough with the spoilers!

Time to rate it

On a scale of 1 to 10 with ten being a "perfect-must-read" rating I give this...
.
.
.
7
.
.
.
Yup... There is another 7 in the list of Manga I have reviewed! Although a 7 seems easy to get it is not actually that easy.... I just happen to keep getting lucky and finding Manga that is fun to read! Suzu is an amazing character and Noir has the mystery... And when you start to unravel the  mystery it fits together perfectly! I say it is a must read for those reasons!

Unfortunately I couldn't find this on Barnes & Noble so I am not sure where you could buy it. If i figure that out I will post it.... but for now you will have to be content reading it here...

MangaPark:Dakishimete! Noir
MangaHere:Dakishimete! Noir

As you can see it is popular! Well that's all for now! Hope you enjoyed it!

As always... Thanx for reading what I've written!!!

Have an amazing day!!!

Next Spotlight Review Wednesday: Manga coming on 4~20~2016

I was running out of ideas of Anime or Manga that you all might be interested in having me review... So this week I put random words in google search and came up with this manga...

 Drum roll please!!!
.
.
.
.
.
The new Spotlight Review is...
.
.
.
.
.
.
Manga
.
.
I know it is really a very random way to get a topic for a review but it turned out an interesting sounding answer to my problem!

I think this coming week's review will be interesting... I think I am going to end up reading more than the required 5 chapters for the review... So that means I will do my best to keep the things I share to events that happen in the first 5 chapters.

Hope you are looking forward to it!

As always... Thanx for reading the post!

Have a magical weekend everyone!

A young high school girl named Kusanagi Yui wakes up one day in a school for gods. There she learns that she was summoned by the god Zeus, who wants her help to show the meaning of being a human to the young gods as well as help bringing the human and the divine worlds closer together.

My review!!!

The Anime that was chosen for this week can be watched on Crunchyroll... Here is a link for you...

Kamigami no Asobi

I watched this one a while ago and loved it so much... The thought of a human teaching Gods lessons... Granted it's a lesson on humans and love but still... A human teaching a God!

Yup that's her in the bottom center! Those handsome young men around her are the Gods she has to teach.... Can you say LUCKY!

Each of these Gods poses a different challenge that she has to overcome if she wants to go back to the world where humans live.... But wait... There is a plot twist... There is a secret among some of the Gods that could spell disaster!

I'm not telling you what that is though!

Time to rate it

I love this anime and would gladly watch it again! The best part is the while she is teaching them about humans and love... The way they all act... Are they falling for her instead of just learning or is it something else???? You be the judge!

As always... Thanx for reading! I hope you enjoyed the review!!!

Have a God blessed and happy day!

Now for my review!!!

The Manga This week was found on MangaPark... Here is a link for you...

MangaPark: Hiiro Ouji

In this manga our little vampire is quite the stud...

I dunno about you but I think he is hot! He has a unique way of getting his food... Transfusions! Oh and each blood type gives him a different personality... I'm not gonna spill the beans and tell you what type gives what kind of personality though! They are allll interesting though!

Anyhow... In the first 5 chapters both our vampire and our exorcist make a unique new supernatural friend and help him out in a most unique way! Have I peaked you curiosity yet?

To find out who this hottie is you have to read the manga!

OK... Now for the hard part...

This manga had me smiling and wondering what the rest of the series will bring... I have to say it is a unique take on monsters so far... You really need to check it out! I Couldn't find a link to give you to be able to buy the manga and support the artist but I will keep looking!

I hope I peaked your interest in a new manga!

As always... Thanx for reading what I've written!!!
