After being told that his dad passed away, Souichirou came back to the house which was his home eight years ago, and there he found out about the existence of his two older brothers, the eldest, Masato, and the younger, Kaname.

In order to receive rights to the house, Souichirou has to live together with them, and despite the chaos and arguments, it's fine by Souichirou if it means he can get the house. But one day, he accidentally sees Masato kissing Kaname...

My review!!!

Let me start with saying something about the obvious!... The tittle isn't as obvious as you would think. This is NOT actually an incest story!

Now that we have that out of the way... We can go into why it's not and what I thought... Basically in the beginning we have no idea... In fact we don't figure it out for a while. It seems that their dad adopted Masato and Kaname making Souichirou his only blood relative. But Souishirou doesn't know this because he didn't live with his dad. But that doesn't explain why he saw Masato kiss Kaname now does it??? Nope... Not at all!!!

There is a good reason for it but I am not going to tell you exactly what it is because that would be giving away a huge part of the plot! I've read this one before though so I can say it's very interesting how it all plays out. I think the best part about it would have to be that it perfectly illustrates how there can be more than one solution to a problem and looking at it in a different way may just be how you find the other solutions that weren't so obvious.

There is also a need to figure out why the solution was needed in the first place... Once we know what part of the situation is and we know how Masato has been dealing with it we have to wonder why it ended up this way in the first place... And the Mangaka provides the answer at just the right time in the story!

I seriously don't think it could have worked this well if it was even a chapter earlier or later to be completely honest. You really needed to at a certain curiosity level for the reasoning to come off as acceptable. I mean it is almost like... Wait... Saying that would give it away! I almost slipped up there!

So anyways... It is not meant to hurt Kaname in any way... It's not forced or anything like that... In fact Kaname seeks out Masato at one point making it seem like he is an addict and Masoto is the drug! Poor Souichirou has no idea what the hell is going on when he catches them though. He gets so confused because at that time he didn't know they were not blood related.

I remember reading him saying "So they are in this kind of relationship" and thinking to myself... Well yeah... That's what it looks like to me too! I should have known though... Every time I think "Wow an actual incest one" it turns out not to be. Not that it's a bad thing that they aren't but I should have known it really wasn't... But watch... Now that I've said this I will actually find one!

That is obviously my luck after all!

Speaking of Obvious... Let's look at the rating I gave since that should also be obvious! After all I've read it more than once right???

I really did like this one... It had an element to it that I really wasn't expecting so that made it worth it for me. I don't think this story would have worked any other way! Just my feelings on it though... That's all for now!

Fujiwara Naeka is a typical 17-year-old high school student. Or so we thought. She's really one of two surviving heirs of a tycoon who has the right to inherit his mass fortune when she turns 18 in half a year. Fubuki, a young and beautiful maid, and Kogarashi, a big burly maid guy with a mask, have been assigned to keep Naeka and her brother Kousuke safe from those who would plot their demise, and to steal the fortune she would inherit.

AnimeSeason: Kamen no Maid Guy

I so don't know where to even begin with this one... I feel like this is one that was made by mashing together the concepts of 3 possibly 4 other anime or anime concepts... I mean it wasn't bad but I just don't know how I feel about it. The concepts that were mixed were from anime that I both hated and loved so I don't know if I hate this, love this, or if I love-hate this!

First let me tell you what anime I loved that I feel it borrowed concepts from...

Bamboo Blade

It is litterally a kendo anime. I'm sure you wonder how I figure it borrowed from this one... Well our dear young lady is a kendo girl! She always says she lives by the blade. So it kinda feels like that was borrowed.

Hayate combat butler

The maids (both the male and female ones) are always fighting! This is true for both Hayate combat butler and for this one.

Now for the anime I hated that I feel like this borrowed from...

Ah, My Buddha!

Yeah... Perverted things galore in this one and I didn't like it because there was just too much. I'm not agents a little bit of perverted content at all but it can't take up most of the anime.... That maid guy is as perverted as the Buddha though and when he isn't being a pervert then some other student or even a thief is.... It was just too much in this one too.

The last concept is a bit more broad.... It isn't one that is really specific to one type... And truthfully it may be better to call it a plot than a concept.

A rich kid trying to get past obstacles or reach some goal in order to inherit a vast amount of wealth with or without a maid or butlers help.

Yup... that sounds more like a plot.

Now aside from Ah, My Buddha! I really liked the other anime... So for me, having those concepts being mashed together fit nicely. And if there hadn't been so much perverseness I think I would have even liked that part of it.

I have no idea if they will lessen the amount of perv content in each episode or not but I think if they do I would really enjoy the anime. So while we are on the topic of how much I like or dislike the anime I think I should show you my rating for this little mash-up...

I'm sorry but for me I couldn't give it more than a 6... I don't like tasteless perverted things... If you want to have it perverted then I'm cool with that as long as it is done tastefully. I've told you the basic feel to this one so I think I'll leave it at that... I don't want to give spoilers... I do think you should check it out for yourself since your tastes may be very different from mine!

A major Update...

Today is supposed to be the day I put out the Reliv information post… To be honest I think I am going to skip it this month.. A lot has been happening with me and I have been trying to ignore it for some time. I’m depressed and I have no motivation right now. So I think the main posts will be sporadic for a while. Unfortunately this is the best I can do because I don’t think forcing myself to write posts is going to make people like what I write. I think forcing it would have the opposite effect. I don’t want to write shit content and I feel like for a little while I have been doing just that.

For this reason I feel that I should do something different. It says a lot that I don’t want to just give up! That used to be how I dealt with feeling like this… I would give up and never look back. But I LOVE writing the posts for you all… Because of that fact I will probably still write posts during the break I am taking… They just won’t have a set schedule for a while.

I’m really sorry to all those people who like to watch and read the things I share with them. I feel like I should apologize because I let myself get into such a funk that my content was looking more and more like crap. I’m trying to fix it so thank you for sticking around while I get a grip on myself again.

I’m still going to write my reviews on time though… Those should get better now that I am not bogging myself down with forcing myself to write the rest of the posts. Please give me a few months before you decide if I suck or not LOL. I feel like I am slowly getting a handle again.

I’ll do a post with the few Vlogmas videos I managed to do at some point too… I was hoping to be able to do it this year and to manage to do it well but it wasn’t in the cards for me. There is always next year though! I haven’t given up totally on that either! That post will come out sometime after Christmas though because I want to spend time with my family and try to get better.

I'll still try to post the Photo of the month as well... Though, like always, it will be at the end of the month. I don't know yet if I will actually remember since I forgot last months... But I will try!

OK… This is enough of a rant I think… I really need to work on a lot from the looks of it because while writing this I thought of a million other things that need to get better for me to get better. With that in mind I want to end this post on a positive note… I really am grateful for my readers and thankful you all stick by me like you do! Thank you because without you I would be kinda lost!

So by going off the cover alone I originally thought this was going to be a Yaoi with a girly pretty-boy but I was quite wrong. It seems that it's better fit under the tittle Gender Bender than any other in my opinion. Our young "Pretty-boy" is really a girl so yeah. It's so funny though because I wasn't the only one who saw her as a him... In fact almost everyone does. The person she partners with even started out thinking she was a brat lol.

Yup that's them!!! Anyhow...

It's not just our starter couple that find romance either... I've only read the first volume but I can tell this is probably going to be the way things are at this wonderful cafe. I mean in the little I've read I have already seen the birth of two possibly three couples... I say possibly because at the end of the last chapter I read they hadn't yet confirmed they were together but they had shared a kiss! Let us all wish them well... Although the outcome has probably already been written into the next few chapters... I just have to read it to find out.

Speaking of finding out... I think it is time to find out the score!

Yes it only got a 7. I know... I know.. What is wrong with me... Right? well it got a 7 because I think there are so many ways it can still go and so many of those are boring... If this cafe becomes a place where everyone under the sun has a hook up with someone else there then it is going to get extremely repetitive... I mean... How many times can you hook people up using the same setting without repeating yourself... I'd say the answer is not many!

Either way I really am looking forward to finding out how things will play out... I want to know how many couples come out of this little cafe after all... But I do hope that it doesn't get dull and that we get updates on the couples we already know about... After all... Aren't they the reason we fell in love with the manga to begin with? I know that's why I did! And on this note I shall end the review

Out in the countryside stands a sweet shop run by the Shikada family for nine generations: Shikada Dagashi, a small business selling traditional Japanese candy. However, despite his father's pleas, Kokonotsu Shikada, an aspiring manga artist, adamantly refuses to inherit the family business.

However, this may start to change with the arrival of the eccentric Hotaru Shidare. Hotaru is in search of Kokonotsu's father, with the goal of bringing him back to work for her family's company, Shidare Corporation, a world famous sweets manufacturer. Although the senior Shikada initially refuses, he states that he will change his mind on one condition: if Hotaru can convince Kokonotsu to take over the family shop. And so begins Hotaru's mission to enlighten the boy on the true joy of delicious and nostalgic dagashi!

To start with... Some people can watch this one on Crunchyroll as well but it is restricted in my area on their site. Probably because FUimation has the rights for airing it here. So if you can't watch FUNimation I'd try Crunchyroll.

Now to get down to business!

So yeah I REALLY don't know what to make of this anime!!! I thought it was about a girl from a rival candy store trying to get the master of another store to join their business by making the son take over for the dad... That would in turn free the dad up to join her father's company like he wants... but it is so much more than that and I didn't even notice!

Not at first anyhow... The thing is... While she is trying to get young Kokonotsu to realize he like dagashi she is spouting off all these facts in this completely crazy manor... It gets so hard to follow sometimes!!!

I think that the only one of the main characters we see that hasn't said the equivalent of I'm lost is the dad and he is just as crazy as she is when it comes to talking about the dang Dagashi! At one point the two of them make it sound like a drug deal!!! I am constantly scratching my head thing what the heck are they talking about!!! I'm almost 100% sure you will be too!

However... That is where the appeal is! I want to watch more to see what crazy things she will come up with next and what facts are thrown in to it... Not to mention I really want to look up some of these facts and see if they are true! So that is the second so much more that I was talking about...

It may actually be teaching you random things about a traditional sweet!!!

It's completely crazy to think you could learn about candy through an anime is what I used to think.... Now I'm not so sure I was right! I'm not going to go into detail about the things she says or how she says them... Or even tell you any of the seemingly side stories she tells... I think you really need to watch it and experience it for yourself because I am not eccentric enough to do it any kind of justice at all!! You need to see the real deal!!!

Speaking of seeing... Lets see the result of my rating this one...

YUP.... 9 for this one too.... It can't get a 10 from me because I am so lost on it that I can't even begin to really say I get it... Not even a little! But it got a 9 because even though I am so utterly lost I am having fun watching it... It is almost like a comedy that could really be something that happens!

It's just crazy makin! And that crazy is what I love about it!!!

Anyhow... I think I will leave you with those thoughts because I know I want to go back to watching more of it... I wanna laugh!!! So yeah!

My review!!!

I don't really like this one... I will start of with saying that. This is because I think this boy is too intense... I think he was so obsessed he became psychotic. When she doesn't want him he forces his feelings on her going just shy of raping her to show her he loves her but that isn't love... I could have understood if it was that and then he had every intention of giving up but that wasn't how it was. He had no intention of letting her go!
Now that I have gotten that out of the way... Let me say it is a very short manga... Two chapters short to be exact! For that fact I was very grateful! I can usually handle this kind of manga ok so I don't quite know what it was about it that rubbed me the wrong way but it really didn't sit well with me.
With that being said... Let's find out my rating, shall we?

I think this is the lowest I have ever ranked an anime or manga. There just wasn't enough to the story... It was like I could only get how obsessed and possessive he was and nothing else... And by the end I felt I had just learned how to inflict Stockholm syndrome on someone!

Not that I would ever do that but I can't help but think about how it might not be a good thing to have so available to the public... But hay... That's just my opinion. Then again you are reading this for my opinion so yeah. I think I'll end the post here because I can't think of anything other than "it has good artwork" to say that is nice. So yeah... Not my favorite.

Story

Can this squad of slightly odd and cute members make a breakthrough in college athletics?

So let me just start with WOW... If you like cheerleading then this is an anime for you!

As a former cheerleader I can say they did very good with this one... They teach you bits of cheer knowledge as the episodes go by. I have to say the idea of an all boys squad is an amazing idea! I was young when I cheered but I remember there were NO boys that wanted to do it. This was about 13 or so years ago though so it may have changed since then!

Even so... I think it would have been amazing to see... And the way they came up with the squad's name was great too... Most of the time the squad is named after the team they cheer for but these boys weren't cheering for a team... They were just doing it as a club! That alone is an amazing idea!

Football season standing in the cold winds of fall was not nice in a tiny little skirt! Just sayin!

Anyhow... These boys....

Yes them... They were the start of the whole squad... Well actually the first few episodes were all about them getting the squad together and the fifth one was their debut... They did a routine at the school festival! It rocked and they looked like they were having so much fun too!

Each of these boys has things they want to break through, remake, or overcome... And they all want to break through the bad stereotypes of make cheerleaders! I love that!!! In the first 5 episodes at least two of these young men end up doing just that too! Not telling you who though!

But... Now it's time to rate it

On a scale of 1 to 10 with ten being a "Perfect-Must-Watch" rating I give this...

Yup this one got the elusive 10 out of 10! I feel like no matter how they end it this one will have been so worth the watch! How can you not be happy with guys doing something unusual to destroy stereotypes! Not to mention they have fun with it and you get your slice of life style too.... I feel like there were amazing dynamic to the members and each person brought so much to the squad!

I can't wait to see how this one ends... I am soooo gonna love this! Hope you got curious about this one since it is not a normal idea for an anime... At least not one I have seen yet! Reminds me a bit of how different "Yuri!! On ice" is too... That is another one I can't wait to review! Not next time but someday!
Anyhow... I'm gonna end this one here!

Being the eldest child of a large family, Yuki Machida was forced to become the responsible one of her many siblings at a very young age. Accustomed to making sacrifices for them, she is all too familiar with disappointment and the pain of suppressing her true feelings.

Though expecting nothing to become of them, Machida becomes the basketball club manager in order to be closer to her crush. But at the start of the new school year, Shou Naruse joins the team. He is extremely talented... and has taken an interest in Machida. Stoic-faced and cold, she is unfazed by his advances, despite how relentless he is when it comes to winning her love—from kissing her with no warning to asking for permission to grope her. Keeping her cool and focusing on basketball becomes a much more difficult task when Naruse makes no effort to conceal his desires.

So let me start of by saying the first thought that ran through my head was "OMG another romance" because lately it seems like I am seeing a lot of those types of manga. But then I thought "wait... It's basketball related so it can't be all bad. You see I love Kuroko's basketball... both the anime and the manga! So I really was hoping beyond hope that this one would be as good as that one.

I wasn't too far off either. It was cute and corny yet sweet and sassy

Yup that's right... I still liked it even though it was just another romance... And that is because it wasn't just another... It had a take on romance I don't see all that often so I really liked the way it was playing out... I liked it enough so that I really am dying to get back to reading it... so with that in mind lets cut to the chase... Lets check out what I bet you have been waiting for! My Rating!!!

Yup... it's a 10!!! Way to go my friend!!! It isn't easy to  get a romance to rank this high with me... Most of the time I only rank 9 and on occasion it is 10... This one hit the high marks because of how the romance played out so far... I know there are a LOT more chapters too so I can't wait to see what happens with them now that manager-chan has admitted she likes Naruse in her mind... will she finally act like she likes him instead of trying to hide it by saying no she doesn't? I am going to go find out now so if I remember to I will write an update... Though I will probably forget that I wrote I would.
Anyway... time to go!!!
