Synopsis

Inspired after watching a volleyball ace nicknamed "Little Giant" in action, small-statured Shouyou Hinata revives the volleyball club at his middle school. The newly-formed team even makes it to a tournament; however, their first match turns out to be their last when they are brutally squashed by the "King of the Court," Tobio Kageyama. Hinata vows to surpass Kageyama, and so after graduating from middle school, he joins Karasuno High School's volleyball team—only to find that his sworn rival, Kageyama, is now his teammate.

Thanks to his short height, Hinata struggles to find his role on the team, even with his superior jumping power. Surprisingly, Kageyama has his own problems that only Hinata can help with, and learning to work together appears to be the only way for the team to be successful. Based on Haruichi Furudate's popular shounen manga of the same name, Haikyuu!! is an exhilarating and emotional sports comedy following two determined athletes as they attempt to patch a heated rivalry in order to make their high school volleyball team the best in Japan.

My review!!!

The Anime can be watched on here...

So I haven't really liked many manga or anime that were centered around sports but every now and then one sneaks in that I actually end up loving! This one seems to be one of those... Well actually I lied... It doesn't seem to be... It is one of those... I ended up watching around 30 episodes before I realized I hadn't written this review yet!

So now I am trying to figure out how i'm going to tell you exactly how and why this anime is so cool... It isn't flashy like Kuroko's Basketball is but it is just as gripping... It's like you get sucked into the game and forget that it's all drawings and not living people... The character development just feels real!

Granted that happens in Kuroko's basketball too but I always thought the reason I loved that one was the flashy way the shots were drawn... See it's kinda hard not to get sucked in when you see a light trail after a ball and lightning in players eyes... But in this one those tricks weren't used so I didn't think I would get this into it... Boy was I wrong!!! I still wanna be watching and not writing!

Speaking of watching it... Watch what I rate it!

On a scale of 1 to 10 with ten being a "Perfect-Must-Watch" rating I give this...

I really want to give it a 10 but I feel like I can't because I don't know how it ends... For me with sport anime or sport manga I need to finish it before I can say if it is actually a 10 because so much is happening all at once that it is really hard to figure out if the ending is going to be a good one. Some other types of anime or manga are just too predictable.

There is one thing that is predictable in this one... There is a rivalry between two schools right from the start but there is a twist on that too so it's only slightly predictable!

I really like this one and i am rooting for the crows!!

Anyhow... I think I'll end this here... Check it out to see what I'm talking about!

As always... Thanx for reading my review!
Hope you have an active and interesting day!

Content with her ordinary life, Lyra is somewhat of a wallflower. However, her comfortable lifestyle suddenly goes astray when she accidentally plunges into the world of sirens. Entangled in a curse, Lyra will learn that her world may be a lot bigger than she had ever imagined.

My review!!!

The manga this week can be found on here...

WebToon: Siren's Lament

I'm sure you are all going crazy trying to figure out why I'm reviewing a webtoon right? I mean isn't this supposed to be an Anime and MANGA review... So what does a webtoon think it's doing on here. To be honest it is a manga and the mangaka chose the Webtoon platform to share it with us! Add that to the fact that the other site I was using (Bato.to) closed down and I figured I needed to find somewhere new.. This is the site I chose!

So now that you know why it is here and can expect to see more of them in the future...Why not start reviewing it!

Let's start with these three hotties!!!

Their names are Ian (white haired bombshell!) Lyra (Lovely lady in the middle) and Shon (redheaded hottie extraordinaire!). Yeah I know I like them all both looks and in personality!

The basics of the story are in the very brief and bland synopsis above... But that is what MyAnimeList had on this one so it is what I showed. I'll tell you a little bit more than they did. So Sirens are the Ocean's playground.... Wait.... Strike that and reverse it... Ocean's are the Siren's playground! Much better!
Humans sometimes end up in their playground and a siren will take advantage of it. But sometimes things don't go how they are supposed to...

In Ian's case that is exactly what happened! Lyra was supposed to be right where Ian wanted her but something went wrong. Ian played his part well and drew her in like he was supposed to... Drew in for the kiss of the century as far as he was concerned.
But there was something about it that didn't go as planned... No way could she have resisted this pretty boy... right? Yeah that is what I was saying!

So how then did something go wrong and what exaxtly went wrong... They had to stick together and work out the problem... All while still trying to keep true to the Siren's Curse!
I's a curse to have to rate it but here it is!

On a scale of 1 to 10 with ten being a "Perfect-Must-Read" rating I give this...

Yes this one got a 10... How could it not???
Look at them!!! Gorgeous I tell you... The art is just captivating... Oh but I forgot to tell you about the last one in our little trio... Shon!

While Lyra and Ian were getting closer Shon was worrying about his little lady... Though he forgot to tell her that he felt that way! Then it happened... Lyra was in a lot of trouble and Shon stepped up to the plate to save the day!!! With a single kiss he stole the curse from Lyra... Oh no!

But omg look at that gorgeous face and those eyes!!!! I could die happy looking into those eyes... Unfortunately even him saving Lyra had drawbacks and terrible side effects!

But for that you have to read the webtoon!
Trust me it is so worth it!!!

That's all... I hope you enjoyed hearing my opinion even though I didn't give anything away that would really impact you...

Oh yeah... Before I go I wanna show you the ship I wish would sail....

As always... Thanx for reading my reviews!
Hope you have an amazing and fun day!

My review!!!

The Anime can be watched on here...

I have to admit I watched this a long time ago with my son... I really enjoyed it so I didn't mind starting it again! That in itself is saying something about how good it really is. I love how they put the harem together! To really understand how the dynamic of this harem is so great you really need to watch it.

Speaking of watching it... Watch what I rate it!

On a scale of 1 to 10 with ten being a "Perfect-Must-Watch" rating I give this...

Yup it got a high rating... I would have given higher but I remember wanting more from the last episode I watched with my son. I know it's animated wonderfully and the fight scenes were amazing to watch for me... Mainly that's cause I don't like fight scenes but I loved these ones!

Over all I love this and I love how our young man handles his harem... At times I really did think something might come of the romances but at the same time I feel like it won't go anywhere... That curiosity makes me want to watch more!

I really do think you should check it out because I can't do it justice trying to tell you how good it is without giving something away. I hope you enjoy it  and share what you thought in my comment section!

Anyhow... I think I'll end this here... Check it out to see what I'm talking about!

As always... Thanx for reading my review!
Hope you have a progressive and interesting day!

Synopsis

By the mangaka of Kare Kano comes a new historical comedy. The comedy story is set in an ultra-prestigious middle school at the height of Edo-era Tokyo, over 150 years ago. It centers around a son of the ruling Tokugawa clan's Mito family and a daughter of an elite Tokugawa shogun.

My review!!!

The manga this week can be found on MangaPark...

MangaPark: Chotto Edo Made

So this one was a very big challenge for me... I don't usually like historical manga... They are kinda hard for me to follow sometimes... Not always but sometimes. Anyhow this time was like that... I read the 5 chapters I always read and I really don't get the story at all... It feels like I'm following around the character but there is no point to where it is going. I could be wrong and there is actually a really deep meaning or something but it eludes me!

There were a few things I did understand though... 1) The father that dies in the beginning is a... ummmm How to say it.... I guess the nicest way is player. Though I'm sure that wasn't a huge thing back then like it is now. 2) This should also carry a gender bender label!!! 3) Even though I couldn't figure out the story-line, it wasn't a bad read... And that is saying something!
Here's something else I should be saying too... Here's the rating!

On a scale of 1 to 10 with ten being a "Perfect-Must-Read" rating I give this...

I said this earlier... It wasn't a bad read. The art was beautiful and the characters were likable in so many ways! I kind of wish I understood this kind of manga a little more because every time I read one I always feel like I'm missing out on something really cool. I'll keep trying to find one I'm interested in enough to want to read it all the way through but for now I haven't found it.

Even though it isn't my cup of tea I don't think you should judge it till you have read the first 5 or so chapters for yourself! Oh, and if you really like it then please consider supporting the Mangaka by buying the manga... Here I'll even give you a link to the first book here...

Amazon: Chotto Edo Made

And if you really like the Mangaka then check out some of thier other works... I'll link you to their Amazon page...

Masami Tsuda

There... I hope you find everything you need for this manga and this Mangaka with those links I've given you but if you have any other questions let me know and I will find answers if I can. Hope that helps a bit!
That's all... I hope you enjoyed hearing my opinion even though I didn't give anything away that would really impact you...
