My review!!!

So when I went looking this Manga up I got reallllly confuzed... First off... MyAnimeList only lists it using it's Japanese name "Onikirimaru Den" so I went to Crunchyroll where I read it... I'll give a link to that in a moment... I then looked up just "Onikirimaru" on MyAnimeList and viewed all results. I decided since I hadn't found it the first time I would look up the picture from Crunchyroll... Ya... That wasn't so easy. Here is the picture from Crunchyroll...

And here is the image that MyAnimeList has for it...

I'm sure I don't have to point out the problem.... Anyhow... I finally figured it out and so now I can tell you what I think... Yay!!!

First off.... Here is the link to the Manga...

Crunchyroll:The Legend of Onikirimaru

Next I would normally put what they say about it but MyAnimeList used it for their description so there is no need.... I can just get right into what I though!

So it is well drawn... I only read the first 5 chapters for this so I will tell you what I can. I had hoped it would fit in nicely with the Anime that references this but it doesn't. In the anime they really don't seem to have a clue how the sword came about but it was with a human. In the Manga it is "born" with a child who is supposed to be human but is feared more than a demon from the moment it comes into the world... This sword gets given to a demon in the Anime but in the Manga it is used by the child who really is a grown man from the moment of "birth"... And that child uses it to kill demons.

Ya see what I mean by they don't fit together... That was a bit disappointing but it was a good manga so I didn't mind reading it even with all the differences!

OK... Now time to rate it

On a scale of 1 to 10 with ten being a "perfect-must-read" rating I give this...

.
.
.
I gave it a 6 only because of my personal disappointment... If it had matched up even a little bit more it would have been an easy 8... if it told a background that fit totally it would have been an 9.

It really isn't bad so you should check it out! You have to be a premium member to read it though because it got licenced so mangafox doesn't have it up anymore. I looked to see if you could buy it and found that I couldn't find it. If you find it can you let me know where so I can post it as an update? Thanx so much!

Well that is all for this post.... I hope it didn't put you off too much from wanting to read it since it really is a good Manga.

As always... Thanx for reading the review!!!
Have an adventurous and fun filled day!

Synopsis
.
.
The year is 2021. An unexpected and highly parasitic virus has devastated human society. The virus, known only as “Gastrea”, has driven humans into massive walled cities. The only thing that is capable of withholding the virus infected monsters is a metal called Varanium. The city walls and the weapons mankind uses to fight against these monsters are made of it. Despite efforts to keep "Gastrea" at bay, children were soon born with the virus already inside of them. Children born with the virus were called "Cursed Children", were only female and had special powers which humanity deemed as their best weapon to fight against Gastrea monsters.

Every team sent out to help fight the virus is composed of Initiators, who are Cursed Children, and a Promoter, who is there to guide and protect them. Black Bullet focuses on Rentaro Satomi, a second year high school student and Promoter along with Initiator Enju Aihara, who is like a sister to him. Together they carry out missions for Tendo Civil Security until one day they receive a secret mission to prevent the destruction of Tokyo area from Gastrea invasion.

My review!!!

The Anime can be watched on Crunchyroll...

Crunchyroll: Black Bullet

Here is what they have to say about the show...

About the Show

In the year 2021, mankind was defeated by Gastrea, a parasitical virus, and is forced to live within a wall made of Varanium Monoliths, a metal that is able to subdue Gastrea. Soon, the "Cursed Children", children born with the Gastrea virus who are able to control it—which gives them superhuman abilities—were discovered. Due to the Gastrea virus' intervention, the Cursed Children could only be female. Civil Securities are formed to specialize in fighting against Gastrea, operating with the pair of an Initiator, who are cursed children, and a Promoter, serving to lead the cursed children.

Yup... If you guessed that the two in the picture are our main characters you would be right!
This Anime wasn't a bad one at all... I don't usually like any kind of show with discrimination on race, gender, religion and so on and I have to admit I still didn't like that aspect in this one... But it was necessary to the story line from the episodes I have seen so far.

That was a surprise too... I usually see things where it is added to make the whole thing seem dramatic... But in this case it is a key point of the Anime!

I hope their situation gets better as the Anime progresses!

So far... In the first 5 episodes they have dealt with the Gastrea, Loss of comrades, Discrimination, and even the law enforcers breaking the law because of hate. It's a tough life for them! Oh and lets not forget the resident "has been" turned "Psycho" that turns things upside down!

Ya that's him... And that is a shot from the second time he disrupts things!

But to find out exactly how these things happened or how our characters deal with the problems you have to watch the Anime and find out!

Now it's time to rate it

On a scale of 1 to 10 with ten being a "perfect-must-Watch" rating I give this...

I gave it a seven because I can't completely forgive the fact that the discrimination of the only people who can save everyone even takes place... I mean... Come on! They are the hero's from what I can tell so far! Treat them better for pete sake!!!

I can't wait to see how this turns out... Hope I've peaked your interest too!

As always... Thanx for reading my review!
Have a pleasant day!

Synopsis
.
.
The story takes place in a fictional Japanese city named Sugomori City. One day, Noriko Sonosaki tells her classmate Katsuhira Agata, "You have been selected to be a Kiznaiver." The Kizuna System, which allows Katsuhira to share his wounds, connects him to the classmates whose lives and personalities completely differ from his.

The Kizuna System is an incomplete system for the implementation of world peace that connects people through wounds. All those who are connected to this system are called Kiznaivers. When one Kiznaiver is wounded, the system divides and transmits the wound among the other Kiznaivers. Sugomori City is built on reclaimed land, but as the years go by, the city's population is decreasing. The story is set in this town where Katsuhira and the others live.

My review!!!

This manga I chose this week is still being written so I only had a few chapters to read to finish it... Here is what I have found...

Crunchyroll: KIZNAIVER - Manga

As you can see I can't really give a great review because there really isn't enough to review yet.... However there is an Anime that has a decent number of episodes if you want to look into this further... I have not watched it yet... But... Here is the link to it...

Crunchyroll: KIZNAIVER - Anime

I think the consept behind the both the Manga and the Anime are interesting... The idea of sharing another person's physical pain is fascinating to me. How they pull it of in the Anime will probably be pretty cool! At some point I will watch it but I want to wait a bit till it is done airing.

OK... Now time to rate it

On a scale of 1 to 10 with ten being a "perfect-must-read" rating I give this...

.
I really like what I read but there is a very big lack of chapters right now... So I really can't give it even a decent rank because the first few chapters are kind of lacking too. I'm not sure what is going on other than that they share the feeling of pain with each other so no one feels their own pain completely... I think... Even that I'm not really sure about.

I'm sure once there are more chapters this will be an interesting read and I may update you on how it is when that happens... But for now this is the best I can give ya!

I wish there was more I could tell you... But that's how it is...

As always... Thanx for reading my review!!!

Grisaia no Kajitsu

Anime
.
Synopsis
.
.
Yuuji Kazami is a transfer student who has just been admitted into Mihama Academy. He wants to live an ordinary high school life, but this dream of his may not come true any time soon as Mihama Academy is quite the opposite. Consisting of only the principal and five other students, all of whom are girls, Yuuji becomes acquainted with each of them, discovering more about their personalities as socialization is inevitable. Slowly, he begins to learn about the truth behind the small group of students occupying the academy—they each have their own share of traumatic experiences which are tucked away from the world.

Mihama Academy acts as a home for these girls, they are the "fruit" which fell from their trees and have begun to decay. It is up to Yuuji to become the catalyst to save them from themselves, but how can he save another when he cannot even save himself?

My review!!!

The Anime can be watched on Crunchyroll...

Here is what they have to say about the show...

About the Show

Mihama Academy is a prison-like school built to preserve fruit that has fallen too far from its tree. It is home to five female students who each have their reasons for enrolling in the academy and live their life idly within the walls of Mihama. One day, Kazami Yuuji the institute’s first male student arrives and throws the orderly rhythm of Mihama off balance. Is Yuuji what the girls need to hold of their lives once more, or will the weight of their pasts prove too steep a wall to overcome? Or is his past even heavier than any of the others?

Based on the two descriptions we can figure out that Yuuji is extremely important to these girls becoming "ok" again... But just what is wrong with them?

I ended up watching this sometime last month so I don't really need to re-watch it to review it...

The title page I used has only three of the five girls at the school...
Here is one with them all and a few extra...

OK.... So lets introduce them one at a time...

if we introduce them from left to right we first have...

Then...

Next we have...

Under her is...

And next to her is...

Above him is his boss...

JB... I remember her first name is Julie but I don't remember her last name.
I couldn't find an info sheet like the others on her... Same goes for the girl next to Yuugi...
That's his sister Kazuki..

And last from that picture is...

Yuugi had it tough as a kid... It was kill or be killed...

But that's it for picture previews... Why his life was like that you have to watch it to figure out.

Now it's time to rate it

On a scale of 1 to 10 with ten being a "perfect-must-Watch" rating I give this...

It is a complete trilogy but I had a few questions at the end and felt it could have had more seasons. Because of this it got a 9. If it had tied up all loose ends at the end it would have been a 10!
Such a good anime!

You can buy the first season here...

I'm sure they can get the other two seasons too.
I'm going to end this post here...

As always... Thanx for reading my reviews!

Health and me...

Recently I've been thinking a lot more about health... More specifically my health.

Let me start of telling you all about my past....

When I lived in Massachusetts I was put on a medicine for anxiety that made my weight skyrocket from 170 lbs. to 250 lbs. in a very short amount of time! I was not happy so they changed the medicine but because I got so depressed they had to add one.

I had been pregnant 3 times in the past... But... Even when I was pregnant I hadn't gotten this heavy!

The good news was that the new medicine for anxiety didn't  make me gain any more weight but the bad news was that the one for depression did... At my worst I went up to 280 lbs!

Thankfully they took me off the depression medicine and I went down 30 lbs. and it felt so nice to be losing weight! Then I got stuck! I was on other medicine for Fibromyalgia and asthma as well as for migraines and I just couldn't shed any more weight! It went in like that for years...

Then it all changed!

My life... My weight... My happiness.. Everything!

It started when my husband got a new Job and we had to move to Texas. Even though I was on all the same medicine as when I was in Massachusetts, the heat was enough to kick my body into gear! Once I noticed this I started doing things to help it along.

I started to do the green drink thing... You would be surprised at how good those really are!!! I also started walking around the block at least once a day... Doesn't sound like much but a Texas block is not like a Massachusetts city block! It's more like 3 of them! When you have chronic pain this is a huge workout! But it made me happy and I was getting results... That made it worth it!!!
Then my husbands job had us moving again! This time to New Hampshire... Even more north than the white mountains! Another HUGE change and I couldn't wait to see if I was able to keep this up!

Let me tell you... The first winter... OMG... It was so tough on me! The bone aches and muscle pain were enough I couldn't get out of bed some days. No way was I able to walk like before! I got a bit worried that I would start going backward again... Thankfully I didn't!

Now we are in summer... I finally feel like I can move again... Most of the time anyway!
Winter did a number on me... My body is back to not wanting to shed pounds... Because of the lack of heat I hurt by the end of each day. But my success hasn't disappeared yet!
I'm currently down to 192.9 lbs. but my goal is to get down to 135... But I'll settle for 150 at this point... I know I have a long way to go and slow is the only way I will do it.. But I'm happy it is happening at all!

To help myself along I am going to start walking a little each warm day because on the cooler days I have trouble walking the house. I am trying to walk around our block which is about the same as the Texas block. This isn't the normal block for this area either... We just happen to be on a looping street so it works out that way. On the days I can't manage to do that walk I am thinking i'll do a short yoga routine! It's low impact so it shouldn't trigger my Fibromyalgia and it is great for your body! I'm also thinking of going back to drinking the green drinks

All in all I have a plan... Now to see how it goes! I'll leave you now with a few question...

Is there is anything you can suggest I should also try? I would love to hear about it... How do you get in shape or stay in shape???

OK... Time to go!

As always... Thanx for reading my post!
Have a healthy day!
