With his mother dead and his father working abroad, Futami Nozomu returns to the town where he lived as a child, to attend high school and work part-time at a local shrine. He soon finds himself caught up in a local legend of twin girls loving the same man. And there are many twin girls in this town....

My review!!!

You can find this anime on...

AnimeSeason: Futakoi

If you are a person who loves twins this town is your dream town... there are twins everywhere! I watched up to the 5th episode like always for this review but I have actually watched this anime a while ago.. There is even an alternate version of it... Check out the MyAnimeList for it here...

Futakoi Alternative

They are so different right?!?!? I would not have know it was connected at all... actually I'm not sure if they really are connected in any way... I haven't watched the other version at all yet even though I want to. Life gets in the way a lot sometimes... As for this one... I don't really remember it too well so it's been fun watching it again... I love how there seems to be a mystery around all the twins... Well at the very least there is a legend someone somewhere started about them to explain the unusually high number born in the town

Speaking of explaining... Let's rate this one and I'll explain why it got what it got... Here we go!!!!

On a scale of 1 to 10 with ten being a "Perfect-Must-Watch" rating I give this...

I really really liked this one but couldn't give it as high a mark as I'd like to.... The story moves along slow and I have yet to figure out what the main focus is other that a kid in high school surrounded by twins and a best friend who is jealous. There was mention of the legend early on but that just says why there are so many twin girls... Boys don't seem to ever turn up in the town because from what I have seen so far there isn't a single pair of male twins!

Other than that it has good art and it is something I could watch a few times and not get too bored... I do want to check out that alternative at some point though... I will do a review on it if I ever get around to it while I do reviews... This roulette wheel keeps me pretty busy! But that's it for this one!

As always... Thanx for reading my review!
Hope you have a wonderfully day of discovery!

On his first day of high school, Yuuya Ochi is shocked to discover that the girl sitting in front of him in class is actually a guy named Shigemitsu Izumi. Unable to simply ignore it like the other guys in class, Yuuya can't stop thinking about Izumi and wonders if he's actually a girl, especially after Yuuya sees Izumi waving to a good-looking guy who he suspects is Izumi's boyfriend. Intent to find out more about who Izumi really is, Yuuya follows him after school, only to end up being dropkicked by him over a misunderstanding. Izumi later tells Yuuya that he started cross-dressing to put his twin sister Yurika at ease, who is extremely afraid of guys. However, Izumi confides in Yuuya that he has one other reason why he cross-dresses, something Izumi has never told anyone else.

My review!!!

OK so based on the name of this manga I had some guesses as to what it was about... I wasn't completely right but I wasn't disappointed with what was different either. Now then... Every good manga has a twist somewhere... This one is no exception... However the twists aren't normal ones in my opinion because I have to say I wasn't expecting this kind of magnetism from Ochi!

Saying much more than that would give it all away and I think you would enjoy figuring out what I mean for yourselves... Come on... You know I'm right! So really you should check out this little gem...

Speaking of gems... Let's rate this ones shine!

Yup it got an 8.... The art is cute and the story is well thought out in my opinion... I like how they managed to show the thoughts of people around the main characters without it seeming forced and I have to admit... I'm a MAJOR BL fan... I don't know if this fits into that though... It has hints of it and I wonder where it will go if there is more published in the future... But for now this cute little drama manga hit the spot so-to-speak.

Anyhow... It didn't take me too long to read it so if you are looking for something quick then this might be just the thing you want. If not and you want something a little longer I hope you will keep checking back with my reviews... There is bound to be one that catches your eye sooner or later. We just have to keep trying until we find a match!! We got this!

Well that's all for now!

As always... Thanx for reading my review!
Hope you have a romantic and fun filled day!

Synopsis

The story centers around the activities of Wakaba Kohashi, "a slightly out-of-tune super" daughter of a well-to-do family, and her friends. Wakaba (literally, "young leaves") looks like an elegant rich daughter, but she admires the trendy gyaru fashion subculture. There is also the pure, innocent, fairy-tale-like Moeko. Mao is capricious and behaves in her own way. Nao used to be an athletic type of girl, but now loves the boys-love genre

My review!!!

The Anime can be watched on Crunchyroll...

I wasn't sure what to make of this one when I first started it... I didn't think I would like it because of the extremely short episode times. I can't usually get into an anime that only has 8 minutes of show for each episode but somehow I found myself liking this one. It's true it is soooo short but somehow the author managed to get enough character into each person and have you really feel linke you are getting to know them bit by bit. Over all it's a great anime!

Let's look at the rating I gave it...

On a scale of 1 to 10 with ten being a "Perfect-Must-Watch" rating I give this...

If you ask me why I picked a 7 I'd have to say it was a combination of things. The short episodes are a bit of a drag but have enough quality content that you don't really realized that it was as short as it was. The art is good though sometimes I thought they could have done better with backgrounds. But most important for me was the fact that even though the episodes are so short there seemed to be some real character development! To me that alone is a huge accomplishment in such a short span of time!

I feel like I could keep watching these girls grow... Even though I can probably watch the entire series in one sitting I don't think I will feel like it was cheap in any way... It has left me with a want to know how the four young girls friendships will grow and change as they grow and change!

Isn't that the whole point to anime and manga? Aren't they supposed to draw you in and grab your attention holding tight until the final episode? I really feel like this one managed that! I couldn't put it higher because I honestly feel that the story was good but there was so much more they could've done if the episodes were just a little bit longer. Even so this is a great anime and I recommend it to you all! I think I'll end the review here!

As always... Thanx for reading my review!
Hope you have a fun and adventurous day!

Azusa used to be bullied to the point where she begged her parents to move. In her new school, she's asked out by the most popular guy, Kasuga-kun. Afraid of being bullied again, she agrees. But she finds herself falling in love with Kawaguchi-kun and his strength. He gives her hope that she might finally break free from her past and find true love, but Kasuga-kun stares at her possessively with murderous eyes...

My review!!!

You can read the manga here...

So first off let me start by saying that the picture above is not the picture in Mangapark but they really are the same Manga. Second let me say that there is a misunderstanding from the synopsis... Azusa didn't beg her parents to move.. It makes that point in the manga itself but I felt like I needed to correct it since I am doing a review... Someone else on MyAnimeList wrote that synopsis.

So now let's get down to business shall we?

This manga was able to grab and hold my attention enough that I made it through chapter 8 before I realized I had gone to far. I'm supposed to stop at chapter 5 then do the review but I got so engrossed in what was happening! It really isn't a typical plot for a romance... And there were some twists that I really didn't see coming that started off as something I would expect... Like that teacher with the perverted interests??? But wait... Were they really what they seem to be at first??? Or how about.... No... No no no... You need to read to find out more of the twists this masterpiece takes!

And now... I fear I can't give you a twist of my own... My rating is really straightforward and honest!

On a scale of 1 to 10 with ten being a "Perfect-Must-Read" rating I give this...

I can't give it the 10 I feel it deserves because I'm not captivated by it enough that I feel like I HAVE to know what happens next... I feel like it's an amazing story with great art but if I put it down now and didn't have time to pick it back up today I wouldn't be going crazy trying to figure out what happens next. I would want to pick it back up as soon as I had the time though so I can give it a high rating without feeling bad about it. This manga really is a good one and I recommend purchasing the books to help support the Mangaka! I'm not sure where you can go to get them but it is worth the effort in my opinion. Thanx for taking the time to find it if you do buy it and also for thinking about it even if you don't buy it... I'm sure the Mangaka will appreciate it too!

As always... Thanx for reading my review!
Hope you have a wonderful day!
