Synopsis
.
.
It all started in Kaminoyama High School, when five best friends—Aoi Miyamori, Ema Yasuhara, Midori Imai, Shizuka Sakaki, and Misa Toudou—discovered their collective love for all things anime and formed the animation club. After making their first amateur anime together and showcasing it at the culture festival, the group vow to pursue careers in the industry, aiming to one day work together and create their own mainstream show.

Two and a half years later, Aoi and Ema have managed to land jobs at the illustrious Musashino Animation production company. The others, however, are finding it difficult to get their dream jobs. Shizuka is feeling the weight of not being recognized as a capable voice actor, Misa has a secure yet unsatisfying career designing 3D models for a car company, and Midori is a university student intent on pursuing her dream as a story writer. These five girls will learn that the path to success is one with many diversions, but dreams can still be achieved through perseverance and a touch of eccentric creativity

My review!!!

The Anime can be watched on Crunchyroll...

OK... I really don't quite know... I am all for the slice of life type of anime or manga but I think I like the ones that are goofy or out of the norm more than one that could seem like real life. This one... reminded me more of life than of anime... Don't get me wrong... I like the art style and there was real character development in the story... It just seemed so normal.

There are lots of anime like this one out there and I think it is great that they are done the way they are done... I just wasn't in the mood for a life like anime. I should probably tell you what I mean by life like... I think if it's an anime that follows the main character through something like school, work, or their day to day life with nothing supernatural or really crazy happening then it is life like.

This was a very life like one... I don't know if that changes after episode 5 because I stopped watching when I finished the 5th one.

Before I say anything else I think I should rate this one.

On a scale of 1 to 10 with ten being a "Perfect-Must-Watch" rating I give this...

So now that I have that out of the way let me just say I will be watching this one through till the end... I'll just be doing it in short bursts when I don't mind watching something with a very realistic story-line.

Anyhow... I think I'll end this here... Check it out to see what I'm talking about!

As always... Thanx for reading my review!
Hope you have a confusingly fun and interesting day!

Synopsis

Alchemists are knowledgeable and naturally talented individuals who can manipulate and modify matter due to their art. Yet despite the wide range of possibilities, alchemy is not as all-powerful as most would believe. Human transmutation is strictly forbidden, and whoever attempts it risks severe consequences. Even so, siblings Edward and Alphonse Elric decide to ignore this great taboo and bring their mother back to life. Unfortunately, not only do they fail in resurrecting her, they also pay an extremely high price for their arrogance: Edward loses his left leg and Alphonse his entire body. Furthermore, Edward also gives up his right arm in order to seal his brother's soul into a suit of armor.

Years later, the young alchemists travel across the country looking for the Philosopher's Stone, in the hopes of recovering their old bodies with its power. However, their quest for the fated stone also leads them to unravel far darker secrets than they could ever imagine

My review!!!

The manga this week can be found on MangaPark...

MangaPark: FullMetal Alchemist

I can not tell a lie... I already knew something about this one... I didn't realize when I was making the list but this is the manga for an anime I watched years ago! I was so surprised to see it on the list and since it is a roulette I couldn't change it even if I wanted to... This is the one that was  destined for this day!!

But let's face it... Who doesn't at least know the name of this one right?

Anyhow... This one had me from the start... I always loved this show so seeing the manga was amazing to me! I don't know if I am going to binge read more of it or if I am going to read it slow when I find I have time and am bored... Probably when I'm bored. I do however know I want to read it and see if it ends the way I remember the show ending or if it tells me things I didn't know!

I guess while we are on the topic of not knowing I should tell you all the rating!

On a scale of 1 to 10 with ten being a "Perfect-Must-Read" rating I give this...

I love the art style and I love the story... There is great character development and the story kind of flows even when it doesn't seem connected. I know this is kind of a vague review but there are just so many parts that if you tell even a little about them or where they are going you will ruin the whole thing! I really do hope you check it out for yourself because it is so worth it!

That's all... I hope you enjoyed hearing my opinion even though I didn't give anything away that would really impact you...

As always... Thanx for reading my reviews!
Hope you have an amazing and fun day!

Synopsis
.
.
With the promise of granting any wish, the omnipotent Holy Grail triggered three wars in the past, each too cruel and fierce to leave a victor. In spite of that, the wealthy Einzbern family is confident that the Fourth Holy Grail War will be different; namely, with a vessel of the Holy Grail now in their grasp. Solely for this reason, the much hated "Magus Killer" Kiritsugu Emiya is hired by the Einzberns, with marriage to their only daughter Irisviel as binding contract.

Kiritsugu now stands at the center of a cutthroat game of survival, facing off against six other participants, each armed with an ancient familiar, and fueled by unique desires and ideals. Accompanied by his own familiar, Saber, the notorious mercenary soon finds his greatest opponent in Kirei Kotomine, a priest who seeks salvation from the emptiness within himself in pursuit of Kiritsugu.

Based on the light novel written by Gen Urobuchi, Fate/Zero depicts the events of the Fourth Holy Grail War—10 years prior to Fate/stay night. Witness a battle royale in which no one is guaranteed to survive.

My review!!!

The Anime can be watched on Crunchyroll...

First of all let me say that this anime is a slow moving one in the beginning... Sort of... I have figured out the basic story concept but then again you can get that from just reading the synopsis. The art is amazing in my opinion! It will definitely keep your attention and I think I even learned something from it!

However... I'm really not sure how I feel about this one because it almost feels like it should have been a religious anime yet it has magic and fighting mixed with history. I just don't know... I'm not a religious person but I firmly believe that there are people who will flip a nutty because it has the appearance of being an anime that could be religious. Because of this I don't know how I should rate it or if I should even recommend it! So after much thought I made a choice! I think I'll just go off my opinion and not worry if anyone gets upset with me because this is supposed to be a fair review, not one sided!

If I am going to be honest I do like it... Yes it's kinda slow in the development departments... But to be fair there are three types of development I look for and not all of them are slow in this one. The developments I look for are Past, Present, and Future developments. What happened, what is happening and where could it go from here are the things I think about while reviewing anime or manga for my reviews... Though to be fair I don't often share all of this stuff because I don't want to give stuff away.

This time I think I can get into it a bit.

Please remember this only pertains to the first 5 episodes okay? Alright here we go! It goes slow in some forms of development but fast in others so it kind of evens out to a decent pace... It's full of back story and introducing characters that are (I'm assuming) going to be very important as the show develops but the story itself seems to go so slow. So that means fast past that moves the present slow and makes the future hard to figure out... I don't understand how this one will play out. But I'm kinda interested in watching to find out!

I also have to say... One of the mains is a cheater unless it shows differently later! Sorry for the possible spoiler!!! I was just surprised and wanted to tell someone about it... Please forgive me!!!! HEHE

Anyhow... Let's rate these Familars...

I mean... Let's rate the anime... hehe...

I know that it will probably be a much higher rating once I finish the whole thing but for now this is the best I can give it! You should check it out too!

Anyhow... I think I'll end this here... Check it out to see what I'm talking about!

As always... Thanx for reading my review!

Synopsis
.
.
Ever since he was a child, fifteen-year-old Souma Yukihira has helped his father by working as the sous chef in the restaurant his father runs and owns. Throughout the years, Souma developed a passion for entertaining his customers with his creative, skilled, and daring culinary creations. His dream is to someday own his family's restaurant as its head chef.

Yet when his father suddenly decides to close the restaurant to test his cooking abilities in restaurants around the world, he sends Souma to Tootsuki Culinary Academy, an elite cooking school where only 10 percent of the students graduate. The institution is famous for its "Shokugeki" or "food wars," where students face off in intense, high-stakes cooking showdowns.

As Souma and his new schoolmates struggle to survive the extreme lifestyle of Tootsuki, more and greater challenges await him, putting his years of learning under his father to the test.

My review!!!

The manga this week can be found on MangaPark...

MangaPark: Shokugeki no Souma

I always thought I was someone who liked odd things... This manga fits that description amazingly well! However I have had my head up in the clouds lately so that has made it kind of hard to concentrate on any manga or anime right now. I tried sitting down to read this at least 10 times and I finally managed it!

I have to say that the first chapter didn't really grab my attention though... I was quite sure that it was going to be some boring manga and I wouldn't read past what I had to for the review.

However, although it starts slow I have to say it got interesting after only a few chapters. I can't imagine what food combinations this kid is going to come up with... I mean... One of his was dried squid legs covered in peanut butter! Can you say YUCK much?!?!?!? But then there is one where it sounds like it would taste absolutely amazing!!!

I'm not going to tell you what it was that sounded so good because it really is the draw point... Finding out what combinations there are I mean. Speaking of finding out... Lets find out what I gave it for a rating... And why!

On a scale of 1 to 10 with ten being a "Perfect-Must-Read" rating I give this...

.
.
.
I know I said I got into it and i only gave it an 8 but I don't think you understand how hard it is to chose the number ratings.... This one lost some of the rating because it started too slow for my taste... Then it lost a little more because of the fact that there were panels in some of the chapters that got confusing to me and for me that makes it hard to stay interested.

I do have to admit the art and story are good enough to keep me interested though.... I am going to enjoy reading this one slowly... You know... A chapter at a time here and there just to pass the time.

That's all I think I am going to say today...

As always... Thanx for reading my reviews!
Hope you have an amazing yummy and fun day!

Ugh New sites and lotsa work!

Hello everyone... I'm writing today because I have a small dilemma on my hands... I didn't really think AnimeSeason.com would be shutting down..... I really hoped they wouldn't! But luck was not on my side and they shut down... I have been trying to decide what to do ever since this morning!!!

You see this was a site I used for my reviews all along and now it doesn't exist anymore... That means I have countless reviews that now have broken links... Add this to the Bato.to fiasco and I am so swamped with trying to figure out what reviews need to be changed and where the Anime or Manga can be found.

IT'S A NIGHTMARE!!!!!

Not only do I have to look for and fix the links but I have to find sites that are trust worthy... And the current years list was based off of being able to go to those sites and read or watch what I needed... I don't know if all of them can be found on other sites so now my list for the year is messed up too!

UGH!!!

Anyhow... I thought I would let you know that as of today I will be starting to look back on old posts and fix them... This may take time but I will do my best to get it all done fast. I shouldn't have an issue with getting the reviews out on time but I won't be putting out the announcements on time for the time being. I have to make sure I can still get to all the anime or manga and if I can't I have to have the freedom to be able to change the tittle I'm putting out... I know I could even if I did the announcement but I would feel guilty and I don't want that! Yeah I know I'm silly.

Anyhow... Thanx for understanding!
