Synopsis

Mei Ayazuki is just your ordinary, everyday high-school girl. That is until one night, when the moon is full and red, she’s transported through time to the Meiji Period by Charlie, a self-proclaimed magician.

She ends up in a strange, Meiji-era ‘Tokyo’ where the existence of ghosts is accepted. Led by Charlie, she finally arrives at the Rokumeikan. There, waiting for her to arrive, are the historical figures Ougai Mori, Shunsou Hishida, Otojirou Kawakami, Kyouka Izumi, Gorou Fujita, Yakumo Koizumi, and Tousuke Iwasaki.

Whilst interacting with these men, she discovers she is a Tamayori - someone who can see ghosts - a skill that is highly valued in the Meiji Period. Due to these powers, her relationship with the men begins to change… As she gets to know these handsome men in a new era she just can’t get used to, a love begins to grow within her.

Will Mei be able to return to her time? What will become of her love - a love that crosses the boundaries of time and space?

My review!!!

The Anime can be watched here...

I can't say how much I love this anime... I really wasn't sure I was going to like it at all since I usually don't like historical anime or manga! It was a pleasant surprise... It was more like the magical part of it drew me to it though... The time travel and the seeing ghosts is soooo right up my alley!!!

I haven't gotten to the part that is mentioned in the synopsis where she is falling in love yet but I can't wait to see which one of these handsome young men she falls for... And I reallllly wanna know if she stays or if she goes home!

But before we talk about this anymore, I think we should talk about the rating!
On a scale of 1 to 10 with ten being a "Perfect-Must-Watch" rating I give this...
.
.
.
7-8
.
.
.
Okay... So this one got a double rating... It has a 7 because I didn't think it was that easy to follow her train of thought at first and because I don't really like historical things... But it got the 8 because it was interesting enough to hold my attention even though it was on topics I really could care less about!

That is saying something to be honest!

The art is beautiful and the story is a good even if it was confusing to me.... I mean... It might not be confusing to you when you watch it so I really think you should check it out and let me know what you thought about it!

Well now that I've given us a topic to chat about I'm gonna end the post! See you in the comment section!

As always... Thanx for reading my review!
Hope you have a fun and magical day!!!

My review!!!

The Manga can be read here...

This is a newer manga with only 7 or so chapters... Webtoons call the chapters episodes though so it might get confusing if you didn't know that. This particular webtoon is pretty cool because it reminds me of the movie Groundhog day. If you don't get the reference then you are gonna have to look it up and read the story to compare them because explaining it would give away too much info and make the story boring! If you do get the reference then please enjoy watching how he handles the challenge he has to solve!

Now lets solve a different problem... Lets figure out the rating for this one!

On a scale of 1 to 10 with ten being a "Perfect-Must-Read" rating I give this...
.
.
.
10
.
.
.
I have some very intense beliefs when it comes to time travel and things like that so this manga hits a lot of my "you hooked me" points! I have to say I was so happy when I started reading it and found it follows things I have wondered about... I wonder if I will later find a manga about Deja Vu!!!

Do let me know if you know of one... Actually it can be an anime or a manga!

Anyhow..... The art is really good on this one too... I like how it is a strip instead of having to load page after page... each chapter is one page! Well it is if you read it on the webtoons app that is. If you read it on another site it sometimes gets cut into different pages but if you ask me this could mess up the quality of the webtoon... It was created to be one big strip so I feel like it should be read the way it was supposed to be read... Why change what isn't broken???

I think the reason I gave it a 10 was because of the great art and the fact that I like how complicated but clear the story is. Yes it's complicated but it's presented in a way that it isn't confusing at all! That ease in following it only lets you experience the story on an even deeper level!

To me that's perfect writing!

On that note... I'm going to end this review because I think saying anything else will ruin the quality I'm trying for or ruin the manga.. Until next time!

As always... Thanx for reading my review!
Hope you have a  day!!!

Synopsis
.

Asta and Yuno were abandoned at the same church on the same day. Raised together as children, they came to know of the "Wizard King"—a title given to the strongest mage in the kingdom—and promised that they would compete against each other for the position of the next Wizard King. However, as they grew up, the stark difference between them became evident. While Yuno is able to wield magic with amazing power and control, Asta cannot use magic at all and desperately tries to awaken his powers by training physically.

When they reach the age of 15, Yuno is bestowed a spectacular Grimoire with a four-leaf clover, while Asta receives nothing. However, soon after, Yuno is attacked by a person named Lebuty, whose main purpose is to obtain Yuno's Grimoire. Asta tries to fight Lebuty, but he is outmatched. Though without hope and on the brink of defeat, he finds the strength to continue when he hears Yuno's voice. Unleashing his inner emotions in a rage, Asta receives a five-leaf clover Grimoire, a "Black Clover" giving him enough power to defeat Lebuty. A few days later, the two friends head out into the world, both seeking the same goal—to become the Wizard King!

My review!!!

The Anime can be watched here...

***Note: FUNimation has it in English... I believe it's also free there!***

Please keep in mind while you read this review that I have only watched 5 out of the over 50 episodes available for this show. So with that in mind I want to start off with saying they have some amazing art in this anime!

I think out of everything I have seen in this anime I like the Grimoire and their meanings! I don't know much about the different types other than that A 4 leaf clover one is pretty special and that no one seems to have ever seen a 5 leaf clover one until our Asta gets one. I can't wait to see what happens with this new little discovery... I won't get into anything that happens in the anime because I really feel like me telling you would ruin it all!

It's one of those things you have to watch to fully understand and appreciate!
And since I've been watching lets see what it got for a rating from me!
On a scale of 1 to 10 with ten being a "Perfect-Must-Watch" rating I give this...
.
.
.
8
.
.
.
Now then... As for why it only got an 8 when I had nothing bad to say about it... I feel like there is a major character flaw with Asta... He screams waaaaaay to much for me to even start to like him... But that is just my opinion. I can't tell if he is just like that or if he is acting to compensate for his lack of magic.

Either way... Listening to him yell every two minutes was enough to send me searching for the mute and being ok with possibly missing out on what others said because I didn't want to hear him yell again!

While I wanted to keep him muted it was impossible to understand what was going on if I did that so I don't recommend it... Just put up with his loud mouth attitude as best you can so that you don't miss stuff. Hopefully that trait will change as time goes by... Or at least give it a great purpose!

I think I'll stop here... I do think you should watch it though because the story is interesting and most of the characters don't get on your nerves.

As always... Thanx for reading my review!
Hope you have a pleasantly challenging day!!!

My review!!!

The Manga can be read here...

I have to say this story is really cute so far... I really like how it is turning out but I wonder if it should also have a yaoi tag on it. It is sweet no matter what though. I would read it again and again because there are times where there seems to be a lot happening at once and even though I am reading I feel like I may have missed something! I feel like I was right there with them listening to the conversations they were having and that is why I may have missed something... Well it's why I feel like I did. The reality is probably that I didn't miss a thing but the fact I feel like it's so real can't be discounted!!!

Because of how it made me feel I want to share now the rating it got!

On a scale of 1 to 10 with ten being a "Perfect-Must-Read" rating I give this...

It had good art and a great story but there were a few things that caught me... One thing that is really miner is that even though the art was good it was a style I usually don't like to read. This isn't to say it's bad... It's just not my cup of tea. But the fact that I liked it even though it isn't an art style I like is pretty amazing in my opinion! I still have every intention to read the rest of it!!!

The next point for me was that there are times when the story gets a but confusing... Eventually it clears up but while it is confusing I ended up getting aggravated so unless you are ready to be a little confused at times I would wait on reading it... You really need to be prepared for that I think.

The last thing I wasn't expecting was for there to be a random story out of no where in the middle of the story... I think it's great that the author put other stories in but I feel like it disturbed the flow of the manga a bit too much because of when it was put into the story.

That's about it... I can't really think of anything else to tell you about without giving away any of the story...  It really is a good one though so you should check it out and let me know if you think my harsh criticism was warranted  or if I'm just being rude in you opinion! I can't wait to hear from you!

As always... Thanx for reading my review!
Hope you have an exciting and love filled day!!!
