Synopsis

Graduate student Souichi Tatsumi is demanding, violent, tyrannical...and a homophobe. So, it's unfortunate that his best assets are a beacon to the homosexual eye: his ass and crotch. Unfortunate, indeed—for both him and his underclassman -slash- lab assistant, Tetsuhiro Morinaga, who is hopelessly in love with those assets despite the threat to his own personal safety.

Morinaga longs to tell Tatsumi how he feels, not to mention other longings... but, given Tatsumi's personality, Morinaga has a better chance of winning the lottery.

My review!!!

The Manga can be read here...

I didn't realize I'd read this one a while ago on my own. I had found it under the Japanese name during a time when I didn't care to translate the Japanese to English. I just wanted to read as much as I could and bury myself in stories! Imagine my surprise when the story synopsis sounded so familiar! Then I went looking on MangaPark for the English and got an entirely different manga! I was so confused at first! But it didn't last long.

I decided to look for the image I would use in the review and found an image that fit what I remembered from the story I read before. That lead to the Japanese name and my connection of all the dots!

Yeah I know... I should have looked at all the names it goes by when I read it so that I would know it when I saw it again. But I'm glad I didn't... This made a nice surprise after all. And since I really liked this story I was happy to read it again this time around! So here's what I thought...

The art is a bit like an older manga but gives it a nice feel... The story is well thought out and is probably one that happens often in the Yaoi Manga scene... Even though it happens often this one has a feel like it is totally new when I read it. I have seen this before but the way they handle it and how it turns out are what really make it feel unique.

Speaking of feelings... Here's what rating I felt this one deserved...

On a scale of 1 to 10 with ten being a "Perfect-Must-Read" rating I give this...

I have to say I really like the characters too... I think even if they weren't drawn well I'd have given this a great rating because it is one of those ones that you can really fall in love with the story and those in it. I feel like the two main ones have quite the history and finding out how long their love was one sided was huge... I was so shocked!!! Talk about committed!

And I'm committed to supporting such a great mangaka! You can buy your copy of this story right on amazon... Here's a link for you!

Amazon: The Tyrant Falls in Love

Now that I've gotten that out there I think I'll end things.

As always... Thanx for reading my review!
Hope you have a Loving and fulfilling day day!!!

The Android, Nukunuku, has the dual purposes of being a companion/sister for Ryunosuke as well as being a bodyguard for his father. Nukunuku's extreme strength and feline agility are regularly needed to protect Ryunosuke and his father from Ryunusuke's mother who seeks to kidnap them both following her divorce from his father. Her motives towards Ryunusuke are simple motherly love, however her genius-inventor-ex-husband she wants to put to work designing weapons of mass destruction for her weapons company.

My review!!!

Before I give you the places it can be watched I want to tell you I'm giving you two links but they are to different things... One goes to the 6 episode DVD set and the other goes to the 12 episode TV series.

The Anime can be watched here...
KissAnime: Nuku Nuku (12 ep.)

You can also watch it on YouTube... Here's a search I did for you all!

YouTube: Cat Girl Nuku Nuku

So this one goes back into my childhood... I watched this one when I was 15 with my ex-boyfriend. It was this anime that made me really love anime! The things she goes through are so touching. Think about it... She is a cat learning to be human while being a protector and friend... I loved every moment of this and even started to buy it on VHS. Now I wish I had bought it on DVD because it is almost impossible to find a house with a VHS tape player!

This was such a fun anime to watch when I was younger and aside from the annoying ads I enjoyed watching it now too! It was just as good as I remembered and watching it brought back lots of good memories!

On a scale of 1 to 10 with ten being a "Perfect-Must-Watch" rating I give this...

This one got the elusive 10!!! I'm probably a bit bias to this one though. After all it is a piece of my childhood so of course I am going to give it a higher rating. But to be honest it really is a good one... The art is a bit older style than you see now but not so old that it feels ancient. The story is cute and there are little lessons hidden within the episodes. All in all I think it's amazing.

And I'm going to end on this high note... Go check it out if you wanna see what I'm talking about... Let me know if you think the rating fits the show!

As always... Thanx for reading my review!
Hope you have a magical day!!!

So, there's this guy jee-han that entered a dangerous zone without noticing and acquired powers that make him able to interact with life using games and RPG logics.
My review!!!

The Manga can be read here...

Okay... The Gamer has a terrible synopsis! It is way to simple to describe this one but whoever made the entry probably put it like that to make you want to see what the heck they are talking about... How could this character use game logic in life... And why were there dangerous zones in a place where a normal kid could end up wondering into them right? Let's explore this a bit...

Sooo.... I have read way more than the 5 required chapters with this one... I didn't even realize I had done so either! It was great! But back to the points... The dangerous zones are magic based places that can occur on their own but mostly they are created by people. In them it is very like an RPG dungeon in a game online. At least it is for our main character. He can also interact with other people like if they were players in a game giving them a boost...

Wait.... What am I doing?!?!? I'm giving away information!!! NOOOOOO! lol... Well since I am going as far as to give you that much info I had better give you the rating... At least that is what I'm supposed to be doing right?

On a scale of 1 to 10 with ten being a "Perfect-Must-Read" rating I give this...

.

Yes it got an 8... I got so lost in the story that I read so far before I realized it so I feel that at the least it deserves an 8. The art is beautiful and I really like the scroll one page per chapter rather than the 15-30 pages with one image per page that I normally see. I think that's why I like Webtoons.

Anyhow... This one is a great read because it had a good story and great art. However sometimes it feels like you have stalled and the story goes no where... But when I thought about it I figured this was done on purpose. It mimics the grind when trying to gain levels in some games.. Lots of repetitive actions that add up after a LONG time playing. So even that aspect became cool to me!

With that being said... I think I can end this review here. It's a high note after all and this was such a good read that I plan on keeping up with it so it deserves a high note to end on! Sooo Yeah...

As always... Thanx for reading my review!
Hope you have a fun filled day!!!

My review!!!

The Anime can be watched here...

I started watching this one and the first thing I noticed was the unique way it was drawn. The way that it seems like the patterns aren't truly part of the anime but instead are just a background that you see through a clear part in the anime. It can make the watching of such a show kind of difficult at times. However it can also make the anime very interesting to watch.

If you get tired of watching anime that has a cartoon like feel then I think this kind of artwork is a good change of pace! Don't get me wrong... I think the other style is amazing too but sometimes I just want something different. I'm sure you can relate to what I'm saying so I'm not going to explain further.

But now that that is out of the way... Let's get the rating out of the way too!

On a scale of 1 to 10 with ten being a "Perfect-Must-Watch" rating I give this...

So I've already told you part of why it only got an 8... But to be truthful I think it's rude to say "only got" with such a high rating. It really is a good anime. I feel like it gets hard to follow at some points so it's not an anime for those who are just starting to dabble in watching. Between the colors, patterns and the style the characters are drawn in being unique, I feel this one would be hard to watch for someone who doesn't know the language. If you have to read the subtitles the patterns and colors are going to be distracting!

However... If you think you can handle the challenge I say you should check it out! It's a good one. The story is interesting and makes you really take a look at things in your life if you pay attention to it. I was thinking about a lot of things after watching just the first 5 episodes... I really need to find out how this story ends because it has me questioning life as I know it. How much do I really know? For that reason I am going to say this could fit the tag of being a psychological anime. There are so many things in it that make me think.

For that alone I would love it! and on that note I feel I should end this... Hopefully it was enough to make you want to check it out for yourself!

As always... Thanx for reading my review!
Hope you have an interesting and meaningful day!!!
