Kanie Seiya, a smart and extremely narcissistic high school student, believes that the beautiful but reserved Sento Isuzu has invited him on a date at an amusement park called Amagi Brilliant Park. Much to his chagrin, not only is the location a run-down facility, the supposed date is merely a recruitment tour where Sento and Princess Latifa Fleuranza, the owner of the theme park, ask him to become the park's new manager. Their cause for desperation? As stipulated in a land-use contract, Amagi has less than three months to meet a quota of 500,000 guests, or the park will be closed for good and the land redeveloped by a greedy real-estate company.

Seiya is won over by the revelation that Amagi is no ordinary amusement park; many of its employees are Maple Landers—mysterious magical beings who live in the human world and are nourished by the energy created by people having fun. Entrusted with the hopes and dreams of this far-off enchanted land, Seiya must now use his many skills to bring Amagi back on its feet, or watch it crumble before his eyes.

My review!!!

The Anime can be watched on AnimeSeason...

So this one was a bit... Ummm... Kid oriented to me. It's not a bad thing by any means but I wasn't expecting it. I think it is interesting that the whole point to it is saving lives by saving a park. I should have been expecting the kid thing since it is an anime about a theme park after all... But I have learned one thing from the roulette thing I do... And that is that names can be very deceiving... After all... If they were too descriptive you would never watch it!

This one was like that... Just descriptive enough. This kid has his work cut out for him too... And since there is magic involved I can only guess what kind of hilarious adventures they will get up to while trying to save the park!

So lets see if we can help them out with the rating I give them by driving more attention their way! Here it is....

On a scale of 1 to 10 with ten being a "Perfect-Must-Watch" rating I give this...

Yes it only got an 8... The art was amazing and the story is engaging but I think at the time I wasn't really interesting in watching an anime that targets kids over adults... When reviewing the manga and anime I think the last two points are mostly influenced by the mood I'm in at the time because it seems like I give the last two points based on how I feel... I think I need to figure out a real ranking system... You would think after doing this for over a year I would have one wouldn't you? But alas I don't.... YET!

I'll figure that out this year I'm sure of it! GOALS!!! hehe

As always... Thanx for reading my review!
Hope you have a wonderfully mixed and magical up day!

MyAnimeList says...

Wealthy high school girl Mikoto finds herself in an arranged marriage engagement with Itaru, a poor, but handsome and smart classmate. However, Itaru isn't as nice as he seemed when they first met. Could he be after Mikoto for her money? Or does he hate her for it?

MangaPark says...

Mikoto Inui lives with her rich grandfather. Her parents are dead, so he's all that she has. Her grandfather is worried about what will happen to her when he's not there anymore, so he wants her to attend an omiai [an arranged marriage meeting], while she'd prefer to go live on her own. He pushes her to attend them anyway, but at her next omia, she meets Saruno Itaru, whom she likes right away. They decide to get engaged but... things aren't what they seem to be?

You can read the manga here...

My review!!!

This manga is a really short one... Not as short as a oneshot but still not very long... It would be a great read if you were looking for something that wouldn't take up too much of your time but would still feel like you read a whole story.

Don't get me wrong... It is a complete story. I just feel like there were things that could have happened or should have happened to make it feel like a really good story. The art was ok... It wasn't the worst I have ever seen but it also was no where near the best. We got to see into the hearts of some of the characters even if it was only a little... Yet at the same time it felt like there was little to no development at times.

It's a really hard manga to rate but I'll try my best...

On a scale of 1 to 10 with ten being a "Perfect-Must-Read" rating I give this...

It's true it isn't bad... But it isn't one I would read more than once unless it came out with a lot more chapters to fill in gaps in the story or develop characters further. So much potential that hasn't been tapped yet...

Some people will say it sucked... Others are going to say it was amazing... And then there will also be those who say it was blah or ok at best... For me... I don't think it fits a word description..... there are some deep concepts at work here that for me make it worth reading over once... But those same concepts will make others read it over and over. It all depends on the person so I think it is worth it for you to pick it up and check it out... If you really like it then buy it to support a mangaka so they can keep creating content!

Well that's all for now!

As always... Thanx for reading my review!
Hope you have a romantic and fun filled day!

Synopsis

.
While at school, Taniyama Mai and her friends like to exchange ghost stories. Apparently, there is an abandoned school building on their campus that is the center of many ghost stories. During the story, they are interrupted by a mysterious male figure. The person turns out to be Shibuya Kazuya, a 17-year-old who is president of the Shibuya Psychic Research Company. He was called by the principal to investigate the stories surrounding the abandoned school building.

The next day, on the way to school, Mai passes the school building in question. While examining a strange camera she spotted inside, she gets surprised by Kazuya's assistant. Unknowingly interfering with the investigation, Mai breaks the camera and Kazuya's assistant gets injured.

Kazuya forcefully hires Mai in order to pay for the camera and replace his injured assistant. From that point on, Mai begins to learn about the paranormal world and the profession of ghost hunting

My review!!!

The Anime can be watched on...

OK... So I have to start this review off with saying OMG it was amazing! If you are the type of person who likes to watch those Ghost hunter or ghost investigator shows but really love anime... OMG this is so for you!

Personally I love those kinds of shows and although it is clearly written in the name I really didn't have high hopes that this would be anything like those shows. After all it is an anime! But I was so wrong... The first three episodes consist of the findings of one case... If it wasn't a drawing I would have bet my life it was the real deal too... It is so well written out... The way they talk is amazingly close to any paranormal investigation I have ever watched on tv that is is almost scary! It makes me wonder if they took real hauntings and wrote them into this anime... Yes it feels that real!

speaking of feelings.. Let's look at the rating I feel it deserves!

On a scale of 1 to 10 with ten being a "Perfect-Must-Watch" rating I give this...

If I could give this one a higher rating I probably would.. It was so much better than I hoped it would be... I think this is one of those that I would be ok with watching at least 10 times before I got bored from it! OK so that is a bit of an exaggeration but still I know I could watch it a few times before I got tired of it.

OK I am going to end the review here and watch it again because I feel like I might have missed some things in the investigations and I wanna see it all!

As always... Thanx for reading my review!
Hope you have an adventurous, wonderful, and magical day!!!

Maiku Kamishiro has a problem. Actually, make that two problems. He has two young girls boarding at his house, each claiming that they're his long-lost twin sister! Which one is Maiku's sister? Which one is a total stranger?

You can read the manga here...

My review!!!

I have to say this one is one I was unsure of... The question "Who is actually his sister" is plaguing me now though so I really have to keep reading and find out. Yes I have read the first 5 chapters but it just isn't enough!!!

It isn't like it is moving along slowly... It has a great pace and the art makes it nice to read as well... The problem is there are sooooo many questions still. It seems like all of the questions lead back to the one I said before. Who is related to who.... I wanna know if they are all actually related... They are going off the fact they have the picture and the same color eyes... And that is the only peek into the plot or story that you are getting from me!

This is them...

I have to admit that the idea that they keep saying they have the same eyes is cute... I wouldn't have thought of using that as a major part of the plot.

Moving on... I think it is time to show you what I rated this little one at...

On a scale of 1 to 10 with ten being a "Perfect-Must-Read" rating I give this...

.
.
.
I gave it a 7 because I am still lost after 5 chapters... There is an anime of this but I want to read it all before I go to the anime... I know there is usually things in the manga that don't make it into the anime. I guess you could say I don't wanna miss anything and I still wanna see it in motion.

I have found that for me it is harder to read a manga once I have seen the anime so I am happy I had to read this one... Mainly that is because I want to watch and read it and if I had needed to watch it before reading it I don't think I would have been able to handle reading it. I would have probably gotten frustrated at how I still have so many questions when I know the answer already... But because I have no idea what the answer is I am ok still!

Well I'm going to end this post here and go back to reading!

As always... Thanx for reading my review!
Hope you have a wonderful day!
