When it comes to the fantasy MMORPG Cross Reverie, none can match the power of the Demon King Diablo. Possessing the game's rarest artifacts and an unrivaled player level, he overpowers all foolish enough to confront him. But despite his fearsome reputation, Diablo's true identity is Takuma Sakamoto, a shut-in gamer devoid of any social skills. Defeating hopeless challengers day by day, Takuma cares about nothing else but his virtual life—that is, until a summoning spell suddenly transports him to another world where he has Diablo's appearance!
In this new world resembling his favorite game, Takuma is greeted by the two girls who summoned him: Rem Galeu, a petite Pantherian adventurer, and Shera L. Greenwood, a busty Elf summoner. They perform an Enslavement Ritual in an attempt to subjugate him, but the spell backfires and causes them to become his slaves instead. With the situation now becoming more awkward than ever, Takuma decides to accompany the girls in finding a way to unbind their contract while learning to adapt to his new existence as the menacing Demon King.

I figured I'd like this one just because it's an Isekai but I didn't think I'd like it this much! The fact that he is one person on the outside and another on the inside is sooooo interesting to watch! It reminds me a lot of how Overlord had their main character. I think it's a great twist we don't see often enough!!!
And that brings us to the rating because yes!

Lately a lot of reviews have been getting 9's but I assure you it isn't just because i'm being lazy! I really do look at the art and the story and this one is no exception! And let me tell you the art is stunning! And this story is easy to follow but has hints of complexity! It's amazing!
And that brings us to why it didn't get a perfect 10... I ended up watching the whole series with my son knowing I'd be reviewing it. I figured that was fine since I was late anyhow but it took me this long to get it on paper so I might be mis-remembering but I think the ending was lacking.
If i remember correctly it still had so much story to tell but was over. So for me the only saving grace that would get this one a 10 is if there was a season 2 that finished off the story. Yeah I know, I'm picky!
And with that, this picky fool is going to go read or watch another review subject so I can finally catch up again!
