Synopsis

Kae Serinuma is a second year high schooler and an avid fujoshi who secretly ships her classmates, Igarashi-kun and Nanashima-kun. The death of her favorite anime character causes her to become stressed—and loses weight rapidly. Now that Serinuma has become an attractive girl to her classmates, her snarky kouhai Shinomiya-kun, and her senpai Mutsumi, how is she going to deal with them...with her constant BL-filled, fujoshi mind?!

My review!!!

This manga was actually really really cute! As far as I can tell it is an ongoing one so when I rate it I will be using the "Promising" tag again. Shall we start???

This young girl we see here holding her head is Kae... After her weight loss that is. The 4 boys behind her are people who fell for her after she lost weight... the top two are her classmates Igarashi-kun and Nanashima-kun who she is secretly shipping... The darker haired one on the bottom is her senpai Mutsumi and the lighter haired one is Shinomiya-kun.

I read all the chapters I could find on Crunchyroll already because the story was filled with unexpected lines from Kae that I really think made her character work. Lets let the Manga page tell you what a Fujoshi is since that is what Kae is...

I think it was kind of a bad move to start her off fat though. It made it seem like it was because she was fat that she felt that way... But then it might have been intentional because that was her character development line. Her opinion doesn't change much after the weight loss at first.... And truthfully it only changes a little when it does change.

Oh we have to add in that she also ends up with a female who falls for her... But to find out about her you need to read the Manga.

OK... Now time to rate it

On a scale of 1 to 10 with ten being a "perfect-must-read" rating I give this...

Synopsis

Do you know when you are going to die? Michiru Kita does, as she has the ability to see the ring of death around people's necks. The darker the ring, the closer to death someone is. She notices that two boys in her class, Chika Akatsuki and Shito Tachibana, have completely black rings. Seeking to warn them of their impending demise, she stumbles onto their secret: they are already dead, but they are kept alive due to a contract with Zombie-Loan. Of course, nothing comes without a price. The boys must hunt down and destroy zombies, seeking to use Michiru's "Shinigami Eyes" to help them in their endeavor.

My review!!!

The Anime can be watched on Crunchyroll...

Here is what they have to say about the show...

About the Show

What would you do if you could see death? Michiru Kita can see rings around other people's necks, and when those rings turn black, death follows. So when two boys from her class, Chika Akatsuki and Shito Tachibana, show up with black rings around their necks, Michiru doesn't know what to do. She tries to warn them, but they don't need it--because they are the ones death needs to hide from! With a certain loan keeping them alive, they need money to pay back the debt, and when the two zombie slayers learn of Michiru's unique ability, they decide to use her for their own profit and gain.

Now lets meet the main people!

These three are the main three characters in this Anime... There are others who also show up in every episode but the story follows these three the most... Let's meet them one at a time shall we?

This is Michiru Kita... It's from after her haircut... She decided when she changed how she felt about life that she was going to change her hair... Kinda! Her hair also needed to be changed because of the events that changed her outlook on life! I think she looks cuter with the shorter hair though!

Next up is...

Shito Tachibana! Easy to figure out this guy... Until later... Then we find he is much more of a mystery than we ever thought he was in the beginning! His attitude also seems like it could use a bit of work... Or at least not be so split all the time! This boy can bounce from not so nice to nice in a matter of seconds... And be back to normal before you realized he changed!!!
He does have his reasons for being like this though!

Last up we have...

Chika Akatshuki is the last of the three main people... He has a unique family that we get to see once and hear about a few other times... It also seems he may have a "sister complex" to some degree.

These two are the ying and yang of our Zombie team! They can't do their job without the other one near by because of a mix up when they died... To figure out the mix up you should watch the show!

Now it's time to rate it

On a scale of 1 to 10 with ten being a "perfect-must-Watch" rating I give this...

I really liked this one... But I can't find a second season so it can't get a rating higher than this. There are too many questions at the end of the first season... Though there may be another season that was released in Japan I have no idea where to find it here in the U.S.A. which really stinks!!!
I wanna know what happens dang it!!!

I'll end this review on this...
Even though I can't find the second season I still think this one is a must watch!

Hard to believe...

I know I have said this about a zillion times... Time flies!!!

It's so hard to believe I started this blog back in 2007 as a way of keeping my pen-pal in Japan up to date on how I was doing and as something to pass the time... But ya...
That was the original reason for it

Ahhh the memories!!!

From the first post where I explained this needlessly..

And the emotional ones...

Saying thanx..... Thanx Sayuri!
And saying goodbye..... Mama R.I.P.

The cute ones...

To the ones I have been doing lately... I look them over and think wow I have grown in some interesting ways...

It's like trees growing together... One for the past and one for the future...

And i'm somewhere in the middle learning how to find my way!

It's an amazing journey and one I'm glad I can take with you all... Sooooo...

Thanx for taking an interest in me and my rambling blog!
Hope you have a memorable day!

Yuu Haruna just moved into town and loves to be on twitter. Out on his way to buy dinner he bumps into a mysterious girl, Fuuka Akitsuki, who breaks his phone thinking he was trying to take a picture of her panties. How will his new life change now?

My review!!!

This manga Can be found on The following sites...

Crunchyroll: Fuuka
MangaPark: Fuuka

You do have to be a premium member at Crunchyroll to read it all... However MangaPark is free.

Now on to my thoughts!

I read much farther ahead than I planned... The story is just so easy flowing that I got to chapter 11 before I even realized I was there! There are a lot of elements in the story that seem to have nothing to do with each other and then "boom" you find the connection!

Here are some of the people we meet in the story...

I know you see a young lady named Fuuka Aoi but she isn't the original Fuuke... This is her...

So... what happens with her... its a mystery unless you read since I won't tell! Oh ya...
And it's a romance! Its's not one of those hot and heavy romances where we see a lot of kissing and stuff but you can feel the love the characters share!

But wait... Who loves who? The classmates come up with an interesting theory!
But... I'm not going to tell you what it is...

OK... Now time to rate it

I know the story isn't complete yet... There are 109 chapters to enjoy though! I love the story and I think when it is done it will deserve the total 10 points from me! It is just that cute, heart string pulling, and fun! What a great Manga! You should sooo suport the artist by buying the Manga!

Here is where you can get it...

Barnes & Noble: Fuuka Volume 1

Synopsis

Life hasn't been fair to Koyomi Morishita. Even though she's in high school, she's so short that everyone assumes she's still in grade school. The boys and girls in her school tease her mercilessly, and she's not exactly graceful either. On the other hand, she's still better off than Yumiko, who has a magician trying to kill her. Or at least Koyomi was until their paths crossed!

Fortunately, salvation arrives in the form of master mage and graduate student Misa Anehara, who agrees to take Koyomi under her wing in learning the new style of magic, which breaks enchantment down into sequences of code. That'll be quite a task, given that so far Koyomi's talent seems to consist of making washbasins randomly fall out of the sky. But if it was easy, it wouldn't be magic, would it?

My review!!!

The Anime can be watched on Crunchyroll...

Here is what they have to say about the show...

About the Show

Koyomi Morishita is a clumsy high school freshman girl looking to change herself. One day, she unexpectedly finds a brochure for a school of magic with an extremely powerful head magician, Misa Anehara. Misa specializes in magic related to computers and programming. Watch the magical fantasy unfold!

These four ladies are each a wonderful mage in their own right... Koyomi is however a bit of a special case it seems... I have watched 7 episodes and I have to say at first I was REALLY confused!

It starts of with the first episode seeming to lead right into adventure and then the second one is like we are in an entirely different anime at first.... By the end of the second one we start to see a little connection but it isn't until almost the end of the third one that it really makes sense!

Other than these four ladies we see the brother to Misa a lot... Thought he really doesn't do much except complain... Here he is...

What a sour face right!!!

Anyhow... I'm not going to tell you too much because to be honest I feel telling you any more than the bits and pieces the sites told you would ruin it! It has mystery and telling more than they did would get rid of what makes a mystery... Well... Mysterious!

Sooo... Now it's time to rate it

On a scale of 1 to 10 with ten being a "perfect-must-Watch" rating I give this...

I like it... Quite a bit actually... I can't wait till I finish it so I will know for sure if this 8 is really deserved! Well I'm going to end this here or I will get tempted to give spoilers... And like I said before... I really feel that would ruin it!

Hope you enjoyed it!

Oono Fumi is a poor second year high school student. Because of her father's debts, she's kicked out of her own home and has to rely on her own connections to survive. Thus begins her life as a live-in housekeeper for a reclusive writer...

My review!!!

So this one seems to be really interesting... Our story Synopsis actually was written like that and I felt at first that it was cut short. It almost negatively impacted my point of view going into this!

However I was able to think clearly and objectively so here is what I came up with!

From left to right these people are....

The main person we follow is Fumi...

She starts her new life after first becomeing so overrun with dept that she has to take a job as a housekeeper for an author named...

 Akatsuki Kibikino.

Her best friend finds out about the dept and is worried about her.. Lets meet her now...

Yes You Tobiume she is in a lot of dept!
As if this wasn't bad enough... Her dad has to work on a boat and stuff happens with that too... This poor girl can't seem to catch a break can she???

Again as if her life was a magnet for bad news an exchange student notices her and it turns out that boy is someone who she had greatly upset in the past... She didn't mean to but things like that happen a lot when we least expect it.

His name is Isshin Aioi.

Once the misunderstanding is cleared up they become friends though. Kibikino has an editor who comes around sometimes... Makes sense since it is his job!

Don't look at me with that innocent look Gorou Kaneishi! You have trouble written all over your face for at least every other time you show up! Your new hobby seems to be analyzing Akatsuki's potential love life.... But since you know him from when you were younger it makes sense.

Fumi goes through a lot in the transition from her old life to her new one and she sees for the first time how even in the same situation one boy can make your heart race when anyone else would make you shiver in fear! Is there a romance starting here???

OK... Now time to rate it

On a scale of 1 to 10 with ten being a "perfect-must-read" rating I give this...

Promising 8
.
.
.
I know right.... another "promising" mark!!! I think this one is promising because it isn't finished being written so I can't really give it a final rating.

This is definitely one I am adding to my reading list.
Because it is still so new I couldn't find it on Barnes & Noble but I will keep looking!
That's all for now... Hope you enjoyed hearing about this manga!

As always... Thanx for reading my post!!!
