Synopsis

Eun-soo Cha is the main character of the story.

Eun-soo has hated her Mother ever since she was abandoned by her. Raised by her Grandma, she became a wild child that likes to fight.

She has even disguised herself so well as a guy that people won't believe her even if she says she's a girl. She can fight well, and is even referred to as hot by girls. One day, however, her Grandma's already bad health worsens, and she promises not to fight anymore.

When Eun-soo's grandma dies soon after, she decides to leave Dae-Jeon (where she lives) and goes to Seoul to live with her Mother, despite still hating her, because she has nowhere else to go.

There, she runs into one of the best fighters, at her new school, and immediately gets on his bad side. What will happen? Will she break her promise to her grandma? Will love bloom?

My review!!!

The manga this week can be found on MangaPark...

MangaPark: Boy of the Female Wolf

I'm kinda liking using a manga cover as a starter image.... Anyhow... On to the review!

I have read only the first 5 chapters of this one so far and what I have to say is this...
I LOVE THIS ONE!!! Yup... You read that right! I love it... I always get a kick out of gender bender ones... But most of the ones I have read or watched are always unintentional or forced gender benders... This one was completely and utterly on purpose!!! It was amazing!!!!

So our leading lady isn't a lady in this one... And already in the first 5 chapters there is a possible male crush.... OMG! I can't wait to see what kind of hilarity she gets up to as she tries to explain away why she is even registered in the school as a man but likes a man and is really a woman!

Unfortunately there isn't a whole lot for me to use to write a review on with only the first 5 chapters.... It is a well written story line... Maybe too well since it has a feeling of not moving fast enough at times.... And the art is wonderful! So far from what I can see it is a "slice of life" type story since we are following our leading la... ermm... leading man around his school and home life.

Now on this note I think it is a good time to rate it

On a scale of 1 to 10 with ten being a "Perfect-Must-Read" rating I give this...
.
.
.
7
.
.
.
So I'm pretty sure that nothing I've said so far would really make it easy to understand why I think this is amazing... It goes to my stance on genders... I think dressing link a "boy" or "girl" is over rated.. Same goes for acting like one or the other... I think it doesn't matter what gender you were born... If a dress is what you want to wear then put it on.. If a tux is more your style then go for it! Being you is what is important!!! I Love this story because I feel like in the first 5 chapters this is a strong message that is being presented to everyone who reads the books!

Because of that I am probably going to go searching for this in English... I hope they have published it so I can read it!!! I know I am reading it online... But this way I can support the author who put such a wonderful and important message in her art!

I'm going to end this here... Hope you enjoyed the review!

As always... Thanx for reading my review!
Have a gender bender day!

Kimi to Boku

Anime
.
Synopsis
.
.
The high school students in Kimi to Boku. consider their school life to be anything but exciting. A repetitive journey through classes, arguments, and orientations for future careers that seem way too distant. But with the right group of friends, time can be made to move a little faster.

Four high school boys, who have known each other since childhood, hang out together in school every day. There's the handsome twins Yuuki and Yuuta Asaba, the gentle Shun Matsuoka, and the calm class head Kaname Tsukahara. Although they have become used to a lack of excitement in their lives, the addition of a new transfer student, Chizuru Tachibana, who is half German and half Japanese, may add a little more adventure to their routine. With his energetic personality and stories from a distant country, Chizuru may be able to light up the dull atmosphere of the group.

My review!!!

The Anime can be watched on Crunchyroll...

Here is what they had to say about it...

About the Show

"Friends since kindergarten and seemingly like blood brothers, You and Me follows the lives of Yuta and Yuki Asaba, Shun Matsuokan and Kaname Tsukahara; as well as transfer student Chizuru Tachibana who joins the circle of friends. Together we will watch as they laugh, dance, cry and share the memories of growing up together in everyday life.”

Before I get to far into it let's look at the PV!

OK... Now that you have some idea of what the show is I will start my review!

It starts off with these four kids...

Yes I used pictures of them as kids for a reason... They were childhood friends and have managed to even be in the same High School... In the show we follow them through lots of things that happen to kids in high school as part of an anime... Like for example.. First love... Jealousy... And lets not forget meeting up with friends they had forgotten about meeting as kids!

Enter Straw-haired boy!

Yup that's him in the middle! He was a childhood friend the twins (bottom two) had met when they were little. He has a hard time getting them to remember him even though he remembers them! After a while he does get them to remember though... You have to watch to find out how because I'm not telling hehe....

Together along with their new friend and a few other new friends they go through their second year of high school. It is a cute story complete with a back story that is given to you by showing you flashbacks of their young lives... Even the teacher was part of the flash back... It hints at a lot of things too but I haven't finished the anime yet to know if any of those hinted things are going to show up for real yet... And there was a second season so I'm sure there was lots more to tell!

But... Now it's time to rate it

On a scale of 1 to 10 with ten being a "Perfect-Must-Watch" rating I give this...
.
.
.

.
.
.
I am such a sucker for these slice of life style anime.... I feel like I get to go back to being in high school all over again every time I watch one! This one was really good at reminding me of things I went through that were similar to the things they went through... Like being teased and slightly bullied by someone who actually really liked me! It was fun to re-visit my school days through an anime and I recommend that if you want a chance to feel like you went back in time then this might be the anime for you! You won't know unless you watch though!

I'll just leave you with a shot of some of the halarity they go through ... Hope it got you curious!

As always... Thanx for reading my review!
Have an entertaining day!

Manga
.
Synopsis
.
.
Normally here is where I would put out the MyAnimeList.com synopsis but this particular manga is so new there isn't one! The closest I could get was to link the name above to MangaFox's description page... Which really isn't much either.

My review!!!

It's really crazy because I didn't think there would be a manga or anime I looked up not able to be found on their site! So... First thing I can do is list where you can find it!
So here it is... The manga this week can be found on two sites...

MangaPark: Marry Me?
MangaFox: Marry me?

I have to start off now by saying this is a really new manga... Not just new to be translated either... I mean it was only published this year... That means in 2016... I think this is a first for me too... I usually find out about anime and manga well after it has been out or talked about for years... This is the first time I'm finding out as it is being written!!!

So on to talking about it!

First of all it is a Yaoi... I'm sure you can guess that from the picture... But as of chapter 5 the two in the picture are not the two dating! The animal person is actually named Marry... And he is a manager at a marriage firm that pairs up animal-type beings with people looking to get married.

The other young man is his customer that he is trying to set up with a partner.... There are a lot of mishaps as he goes... They literally had me laughing in tears sometimes!

The bat-type was the best shocker though!

Now you are probably wondering why I am calling them Beings and not people right? That's because they are from outer space... Yup it totally reminded me of Cat Planet Cuties! I'm not kiddin!!!

OK... Now that I've told you a little about it I think it's time to rate it

On a scale of 1 to 10 with ten being a "Perfect-Must-Read" rating I give this...
.
.
.
10
.
.
.
Yup that's right... It's that elusive 10!!! This manga may not be done yet but I feel like it has the makings of something super amazing! I mean come on... There is romance... Comedy... Yaoi... and a cute back story given early on so you understand where the customer is coming from! I am seriously going to be watching to see where they take this one... Does the manager end up falling for his customer... Does he set up the customer with another customer and end up miserable? Is it really only for the money he can get from this guy? I wanna know it all!

I really hope what I've shared with you has you wondering even if it's just a little bit!

As always... Thanx for reading what I share!
Have a romantic day!

Synopsis
.
.
In a dying world, there exists an ancient legend: when the world ends, the gateway to paradise will be opened. This utopia is the sole salvation for the remnants of life in this barren land, but the legend also dictates that only wolves can find their way to this mythical realm. Though long thought to be extinct, wolves still exist and live amongst humans, disguising themselves through elaborate illusions.

A lone wolf named Kiba finds himself drawn by an intoxicating scent to Freeze City, an impoverished town under the rule of the callous Lord Orkham. Here, Kiba discovers that wolves Hige, Tsume, and Toboe have been drawn in by the same aroma. By following the fragrance of "Lunar Flowers," said to be the key to opening the door to their ideal world, the wolves set off on a journey across desolate landscapes and crumbling cities to find their legendary promised land. However, they are not the only ones seeking paradise, and those with more sinister intentions will do anything in their power to reach it first.

My review!!!

The Anime can be watched on AnimeSeason

Here is the summery that they provide...

Summary

In some distant future, it's common knowledge that all wolves have been extinct for 200 years. However, it seems this is false as wolves have not disappeared but rather have taken human form. Kiba, a lone wolf, wanders into a city, trying to sniff out the Lunar Flowers that are supposed to lead whoever follows the scent to paradise. The source of the smell is Cheza, a girl who sleeps in what appears to be suspended animation in a lab. She and the wolves are drawn to each other, and Kiba hopes to find paradise once he finds the source of the scent of Lunar Flowers. However, once Kiba finds Cheza, she is kidnapped by a mysterious person called Darcia, and his search begins anew. Before he leaves the city, he meets 3 other wolves, Tsume, Hige and Toboe. All four wolves have very different personalities and ideas, and their friendliness towards each other is a little rough around the edges. However, they soon band together to continue to search for paradise.

There are bits and pieces that we can put together with these two summaries...

Here we have our main characters... I'm not going to go into detail about them... But there really isn't much to tell by the 5th episode so it isn't like I'm trying to hide anything.

If I remember right then I can at least tell you the meanings of their names...

Kiba: Fang
Tsume: Claw
Hige: whiskers
Toboe: Howling

They each have a back story from what I can tell... If you plan on watching this one I recommend that you watch it on the Flash Player version whenever possible. Episode two is a bit behind with the subs on the other player but the second option is cut short... The first option catches up with itself.. Or it could have just been my luck to get a bad connection.

So far from what I have seen this one is a mystery right up until episode 5... We have no idea where paradise is, how to find it, why wolves were thought to be extinct... Then there are side mysteries... Like why the guy with the black dog and gun hunts them... Something about revenge... And just who the heck is the lab lady really???

That isn't where the questions end either... I'm sure that more will surface in time too... I don't know how they managed to get so many questions to fit so nicely together in such a short amount of episodes but they did it! Best part is I didn't even list all the ones I have after only 5 episodes...

So basically if you like mysteries and questions in your anime this one is for you!

But now to rate it!

On a scale of 1 to 10 with ten being a "Perfect-Must-Watch" rating I give this...
.
.
.
6
.
.
.
I know... with the high praise I gave for the questions I bet you are wondering why I only gave it a 5? Well... That's easy... It felt like there were too many questions and no answers coming to light. If they had answered even one question within the 5 episodes I watched I would have marked it higher... But as it is I could only wonder if I would ever get answers... I got frustrated at not knowing anything for sure... If this kind of thing wouldn't bother you then your rating would be closer to an 8 I'd say.

At any rate... This is one you would have to watch to see if you can stand the questioning atmosphere or not... I couldn't do it... If you can then maybe you could let me know if it is worth watching more of it??? I would really appreciate it if you would do that!!!

Anyhow I think I'll end this review here... Hope it was helpful!

As always... Thanx for reading my review!
Have a furry fun day!

The Fujisaki Girls Academy is known for their school body being composed of very proper students. On the other hand, Kurahashi Riko is also admired but for having a very forward and boyish personality. Riko accidentally walks into Maki while she's practicing kissing with a pillow and learns that she isn't what everyone thinks she is. Riko is forced into keeping Maki's secret and join her in practicing all aspects of romance like holding hands and more.

My review!!!

The manga this week can be found on MangaPark

MangaPark: Love Lab

NOTE:
This one is written by Miyahara Ruri and is not to be confused with Love Laboratory (which is sometimes shortened to love lab) that is written by NAKAYAMA Kanmi. They are very different stories to say the least! And now... On to the review!

I read a bit farther than I needed to with this one because each chapter is really short in the beginning... I am unsure if they will change as the story develops but in the beginning I was surprised at how short each was. So the first thing I can say is that it is a good manga for when you have little to no time to spare but need to get a manga fix in!

To be a part of an all-girls school and to be the polar opposite of the person you are "helping" is such a great start to a plot... The fact that you are not as you have made yourself seem is a good twist... And add in that the things you talk about are soooo funny and you get a great story!

That is basically what I have seen happen to Riko in the first set of chapters... The fact that the story has a LOT of volumes says it really did go great! I wonder how the characters develop further along... Are they ever able to get that all illusive boyfriend or are they just stuck in some kind of wishful thinking?

Not to mention... Does the secret that you haven't actually.... Wait... I'll leave that part for you to figure out when you read the story for yourself! So check it out if you want to know what secret lie is told by Riko while she is trying to keep Maki's secret...

Now that I have got you wondering about stuff in the story... Let's get to the good part... Rating time!

On a scale of 1 to 10 with ten being a "perfect-must-read" rating I give this...
.
.
.
8
.
.
.
The chapters are funny and entertaining but too short for me... I think it would be great as a filler manga to read as of right now.. Maybe if the chapters get a bit more to them as I go along I will end up thinking differently but right now that just isn't the case!

I'm not sure how long it will take me to read this one though because if I want to sit down and read a manga I don't want to have to keep changing chapters... I want to be on one chapter for a bit and see a good amount of character development. But then that is just how I like my manga!

I'm going to end the review now since I feel like saying anything else would either give away too much or would spoil something funny...

As always... Thanx for reading what I wrote!
Have a love filled day!

Eto Tamashii (alternate name)
.
Anime
.
Synopsis
.
.
When Takeru Amato moved into his new apartment in Akihabara, he was warned that there was one problem with it. He wasn’t warned, however, that the problem was a hole in the floor that leads to the realm of the zodiac gods. He also wasn’t told about Nyaa-tan, the eccentric, immature, prospective zodiac-sign cat.

Nyaa-tan would like nothing more than to join the rest of the girls, otherwise known as Eto-shin, in the Chineze zodiac, but she’s going to have to fight to work her way in. Fortunately, establishing a relationship with Takeru can help her with that. In Etotama the members of the zodiac don’t just represent people’s births; they draw their power from positive human emotions in the form of energy called Sol/Lull. With this power, the Eto-musume, or potential Eto-shin, can change from their mostly humanoid appearances into smaller “pretty modes” that can battle with each other in the Eto world.

Nyaa-tan needs to get Takeru to warm up to him fast, and not just because they’re living together. The ETM12 selection festival to determine the next member of the zodiac is coming soon. With Takeru’s good graces, Nyaa-tan just might be able to fight off the other Eto-musume and the 12 Eto-shin themselves, and finally take her place in the zodiac.

My review!!!

The Anime can be watched on CrunchyRoll...

Here is what they had to say about it...

About the Show

Since ancient times, Japan has upheld the tradition of the 12 Zodiac signs. Eto-musumes (Zodiac girls), who have the appearance and behavior of the animals of the Zodiac, are pure hearted messengers who act as a bridge between humans and the gods. Every 60 years, the “ETM 12” tournament takes place in Tokyo’s Akihabara district, where aspiring girls from all over Japan gather for the chance to become the next zodiac sign.

So this one is a good one! It reminded me a lot of Fruits Baskets when I first started it... After all it is the zodiac and the cat trying to become a part of it.... However there was a twist even in the first 5 episodes... The cat doesn't even remember why they want to be in the zodiac and the rat has a grudge agents the cat! Yet no one knows what the cat did to anger the rat and the cat has amnesia so she can't explain anything! Talk about a bind! This cute kitty doesn't have a clue!

As if that wasn't enough to get you interested... They add in all kinds of fights to gain talisman like things that would actually allow the zodiac to change animals... If I had to describe it then I would say it was like taking Pokemon, Yu-Gi-Oh, and Fruits Baskets and rolling it all into one anime... Ya I would say that fits!

The smaller version of our kitty-girl is her fighting form... Ya that's right... To fight they go Chibi!!!!

SOOOOO CUTE!!!!

I haven't finished it yet but I really think I will finish the 12 episodes today... I don't know if there is a second season or not but I will find out and let you know if there is!

Once again... Since I have your attention... It's time to rate it!

On a scale of 1 to 10 with ten being a "perfect-must-Watch" rating I give this...

There are just so many things mixed in that I didn't even realize I had watched the first five... It flew by! If you are looking for an anime that you can really lose yourself to that is cute and suggestive all at the same time this one is probably a good pick! I love how it moves both fast and slow at the same time and keeps you trying to figure out the point behind things... There are sad and cute times as well as happy and crazy times! it just seems like it has it all... Once I finish the series then I will know if it should have gotten a 10 instead...

If I change it I'll add it as an update!

Well that is all for now... I am not sharing pictures cause I want you to watch it to find out how cute these zodiac people can be!

As always... Thanx for reading my review!

A mysterious man of outstanding beauty appeared before me... just as I lost my father to the hands of death. Although I thought he was a debt collector, I was surprised when I found out he was actually my possible foster father. Before I knew it I already fell for him - Sena-san. One touch from this man makes my heart race! Also, what is the meaning of that sudden kiss?!

My review!!!

The manga this week can be found on MangaPark...

MangaPark: Monster Master

This picture has all the info in it f you want to order it from somewhere... I think you can give them the ISBN numbers and they can figure it out from there!

So moving on.... Time to actually do the review!

Now as we all know... I LOVE YAOI! I don't try to hide it... I think  I even like the "Bad" yaoi... Or at least I'm told they are bad. So for me to do this review objectively was really hard!!! But I did my best and I feel that I did pretty good too!

This manga touched on a few taboo or touchy topics...
Let's list them shall we!
The first one was the very fact that it is about a gay couple... There are people out there who would get upset at the idea this is possible (even though it is a real thing) and those people would throw a fit... So this manga is not for you if you if you are homophobic! Neither is this review... So you can stop reading here... But the rest of you can continue!

The second one was the age gap between the two people in the couple... Though they don't say exactly how old each one is I would assume a kid still in school and a man who is president of a business have enough years between them to turn a few heads... And I don't mean in the good way!
There are bound to be people in the USA that are going to cry it's pedophile material... It's not!

The third one was the fact that this older man was supposed to be adopting this young boy and he kisses him out of no where... You have to read the manga to find out if anything else happens though! I'm sure there are people who would claim this was promoting incest.... Again... It's not!

People come on... It's a manga... Yes it is full of taboo or sensitive topics... But that's it!

It is drawn wonderfully... The story-line isn't a bad one... The characters grow as the story progresses... There isn't really anything I can think of that is technically wrong with it.

Wait... I take that back... It's too short! I feel like there could have been soooo much more done with more chapters... My standard 5 chapters finished the manga from what I can tell! So for those of you out there who like short stories this is a good one for you... That is as long as you don't mind yaoi!

Now on this note I think it is a good time to rate it

On a scale of 1 to 10 with ten being a "perfect-must-read" rating I give this...
.
.
.
7
.
.
.
I know... With all that praise why did it only score a 7... Right???

That is easy... It was too short for me!!!! I wanted to know how there lives developed as well as their relationship... And let's not forget that we need to know if he is accepted by the older guys family!
None the less we don't find out this... At least not on the site I found to read it on!
And with this I am going to end the review!

As always... Thanx for reading what I've written!
Have a taboo day!

Sakamoto desu ga?

Anime
.
Synopsis
.
.
Sophisticated, suave, sublime; all words which describe the exceedingly handsome and patently perfect Sakamoto. Though it is only his first day in high school, his attractiveness, intelligence, and charm already has the girls swooning and the guys fuming with jealousy. No one seems able to derail him, as all attempts at tripping him up are quickly foiled. His sangfroid is indomitable, his wits peerless. Will any of Sakamoto's classmates, or even teachers, be able to reach his level of excellence? Probably not, but they just might learn a thing or two trying...

My review!!!

The Anime can be watched on Crunchyroll...

Here is what they have to say about the show...

About the Show

Sakamoto is not a normal high schooler. He’s smart, he’s dashing, he’s popular with girls. Much to the dislike of the male population of his school, who tries every trick in the book to mess Sakamoto up. But in the end, Sakamoto comes out of every trap with style and makes himself look cooler. Does he do this for popularity? Is this just who he is? No one really knows, but haven’t you heard? He’s Sakamoto!

Yup that is one picture of Sakamoto... I watched 5 episodes of sparkly event after sparkly event... No matter what this kid gets caught up in they make him look like a something out of a fairytale! here is another example of sparkly-kun...

Seeeeeee... Do you see what I mean????

I am not a fan of this anime... I feel like it is way too much of a "Perfect" character style they have going on in this one... I couldn't find any love for him what so ever... All I could do was hold back laughing at the ridiculous situations he ended up in or how he dealt with those same situations!

I mean... don't get me wrong... His character is drawn soooo wonderfully... I just feel like he should be less dorky while he is being cool... It's probably just my opinion interfering though! I mean sure... I can see why people would like this one too... I just couldn't make myself like it!

I asked my son to watch one episode with me just so that maybe he could curb my dislike a bit... But I guess we have the same taste because he just bust out laughing and at the end asked me "Ma... What the heck did you just make me watch!?!?" and started laughing again.

I can't help it... I mean... He is the ridiculously photogenic anime guy after all... Everything he does is done so that if at any time you snapped a picture it would come out perfect! Yes... It can really be a spectacle to see... But I have to say I think that is a redeeming point right?

I mean... Even if he is doing something silly... If it is easy on the eyes then it can be forgiven or for some it can even be turned into a fantasy... Though I'm not quite sure how that would work. No matter though because if it works for someone then It's all good right?

Maybe this is how...

Oh I know... It could be parts from the time he was changing at work....

Yup.... That has to be it... I can't think of any other way... Plus there is this pic too...

OK... Now that I catered to the eye-candy part of this post I think we should rate it!

If it wasn't for the young Akane, who knows what, might have happened? But it doesn't stop there at school, everywhere, men are harassing him...!

My review!!!

Well this was a cute twist on a unexpected romance!

The two things this story's synopsis doesn't tell you that you need to know in order to understand everything that happens in the story are as follows...

1) That Kikuchi-sensei is completly straight and was confessed to by a make student...
2) Kikuchi-sensei refused to even hear out this young man's feeling and was cursed because of it...

The unlucky strike is the curse! No woman will ever love him again but every man alive will.

We follow Kikuchi as he attempts to break the curse... And unintentionally stumbles on a love he doesn't know if he wants to lose! There is a lot of supernatural stuff going on with this too... But to find out exactly what you need to read!

I really feel this is an amazing story... There is no rape and that is usually a staple in Yaoi Manga! There is cute love and heartache... and there is so much more!!!

The story has been Licenced but you can buy it here...

Amazon: Unlucky Strike

I couldn't find it on Barnes & Noble though... Also I don't think it was translated into English but if you read Japanese and want to see more by this author you can look here... Amazon: Author page - Kazuhiko Misima

I'm gonna leave it at this... I really hope that you like this one!

As always... Thanx for reading my reviews!!!
Have a dreamy day!
