Then something goes awry, and Kurau is struck by twin bolts of light. In the aftermath, her father is dismayed to find that his daughter is no longer his daughter. Rather, her body is now home to two energy entities with fantastic powers.

My review!!!

The Anime can be watched here...

In addition to watching it on one of those sites you can buy it here...

Amazon: Kurau Phantom Memory

Now that I've told you where to buy it I'm sure you can guess where I am leaning when it comes to if I enjoyed it or not. If you guessed that I enjoyed it you are sooooooo right! This one had so much depth in it that I was so absorbed and didn't even notice it had gotten late. My girls were watching it with me and they got a much later than usual bed time because I got so lost in it. Yes the story line is just that good. I really love it!

The range of emotions you go through in just the first two episodes is amazing. Originally I was the only one watching and my girls were on their tablet watching funny videos, but part way through one episode I noticed that there was no other noise and when I looked over I saw them with the tablet off and they were glued to the tv.

The fact that this anime was able to grasp them so quickly and hold their attention more than a funny video could tells me it's amazing even if I didn't like it! I would say it's like a miracle in some ways! Ever since the social distancing hit our town I haven't been able to keep them occupied very easily.

BUT THIS ANIME DID!!!

Now then, with that in mind let me tell you the rating!

On a scale of 1 to 10 with ten being a "Perfect-Must-Watch" rating I give this...
.
.
.
10
.
.
.
Now I know what you're thinking.... I didn't give it a 10 for just the fact that it kept my children occupied. I also paid attention to the fact that there was a great story (which I mentioned earlier) and that the art was interesting enough to keep me watching. Sometimes even a good story can lose my interest if the art is bad. Thankfully this one wasn't bad at all!!!

I still don't know if the aliens are lovers or twins because they just call each other 'my pair' I hope it gets explained at some point but even if it isn't I think I'll be okay with that. You should really check this one out if you have time!
And I'm gonna end it here!

As always... Thanx for reading my review!
Hope you have a happy and healthy day!!!

Synopsis

Nothing ever happens in the village of Sotoba. In fact, it is viewed as nothing more than a hick town by its most outgoing and fashionable resident, Megumi Shimizu. She wants nothing more than to live in the city, far away from the villagers and their outdated ways of thinking. So when a new European-style house is built on a hill in the village, Megumi believes its residents must be cultured and refined, so she decides to pay them a visit.

However, Megumi doesn't return home that night. After a grueling search, she is found the next day, weak and anemic, with strange bite marks on her. But Megumi is just the first victim in what will soon become an epidemic in Sotoba as the bodies start piling up. The village doctor Toshio Ozaki, along with the priest Seishin Muroi, the loner Natsuno Yuuki, and the Tanaka siblings Kaori and Akira, begin investigating the strange deaths. But the answer to their predicament may be more than any of them can handle, for soon the dead could outnumber the living.

My review!!!

The Manga can be read here...

Okay... I love a good horror if it's not the jump scare kind. Thankfully it's impossible, yes impossible, for a manga to be a jump scare. With that being said it makes the horrors sooo much nicer for me. You see even if there is a point that should have been a jump scare if it was animated, it is just a still picture and can't jump out and scare me!

That being said, there is a point in one of the first set of chapters that would probably have been a jump scare so I'm reallllly glad this one came up under manga and not anime! This one will make a freaky and super scary anime if they ever decide to make one. (didn't look to see if they already did so I'm sorry if they did and I didn't have all the facts.) It reminds me of the ring in a lot of ways. The Japanese way of doing horror is sooo scary!

A lot of the time it is a very clear cut reason it's a horror... Either there is a murderer in town hacking people to bits or there are vampires or something to that effect. I've read 6 chapters if I include the prelude and it's just now starting to hint at something other than being a disease killing people... Which while that in and of itself is a scary thing, it's not the same kind of scare.

It's terrifying right now to think of a disease killing millions mainly because at this time in history there is a Pandemic going on. Yes I did it... I brought the Covid-19 virus into the review. So when I started reading this and it kept talking about an outbreak epidemic I was really hard pressed not to compare it to what's happening now. But it seems that there is a supernatural cause to their epidemic... Not telling!!! Check it out and give it until at least chapter 10 before you even try to form a solid opinion of it.

Here's what rating my opinion got it though...

On a scale of 1 to 10 with ten being a "Perfect-Must-Read" rating I give this...
.
.
.
7
.
.
.
There are times when The art was hard to follow because it was a style I wasn't that familiar with or interested in and the story was a bit wordy at times. Because of that I didn't really feel like I enjoyed it too much. It was a good one  as far as how much thought was put into the story itself though.

While it wasn't my cup of tea I do hope you check it out before deciding for yourself.... Who knows... You might like it more than I did!!!

As always... Thanx for reading my review!
Hope you have a Happy day!!!

Anime

Synopsis
.
.

The series is a historical drama aesthetically and boldly adapting the life of Oda Nobunaga in his teens up to his time as a warlord against his brother, Nobuyuki.

That's all that MyAnimeList has to say about it but let's look at another source before diving into the review shall we? Anime-Planet has this to say...

The fearsome warlord, the demonic king—Oda Nobunaga! Before he was trying to rule over Japan, he was a teenager who began his path to greatness with his younger brother and faithful followers. Through succession, betrayal, battles, and bonds between one another, the struggles these boys face promise a future where they can blossom into powerful men.

Now that we have a bit more information I think we are ready to begin!

My review!!!

The Anime can be watched here...

While I'm sure there are other places to watch this I think I'll only list this one. I'd rather talk about how surprised I am with the anime than where to watch it after all... And so let us begin!

I am NOT one for historical anything unless I go searching for the information myself... That being said, I'm sure you can imagine the dread I had when I found out this was one of those anime that was based on history!

Oh my goddess I wish it wasn't history was all I kept thinking!

BUT.... and yes that is a big but... I also thought about how it was for my readers so I needed to at least review the 5... Then I could stop. Yup I was dreading it that much. I was in for a surprise.

I didn't want to know all this history but as I watched the anime I found that I was surprisingly drawn to it. Each one ended leaving me wondering what was going to happen next. What new thing am I going to find out about Nogunaga? In the end I couldn't tell you how much of this anime is fact and how much is the animator and mangaka trying to make it sell-able.

And, if we are being honest... I don't really care!

It was so fun to watch that I don't want to ruin it by finding out the difference between the history and the added parts. It's amazing like this and I think it's a great way to get some interesting information out to kids in a way they would find fun. You just have to make sure to tell them they need to learn the facts too. It wouldn't do to rewrite history after all.

Well not outside an anime or manga anyhow....

And on that note I should share with you this ones score...

On a scale of 1 to 10 with ten being a "Perfect-Must-Watch" rating I give this...
.
.
.
10
.
.
.
So the reason this one got the elusive 10 is because the art was beautiful and the story was enough to capture even me... As someone who hates learning history this is HUGE! So you really should check it out...

Who knows, maybe you will learn something without knowing it!

As always... Thanx for reading my review!
Hope you have a meaningful day!!!

My review!!!

The Manga can be read here...

And you can start buying the books here...

Amazon: 12 Beast book 1 of 7

So now you know where to find them and I can start the actual review. This one is... Well... Unique is the best I can think of. I really don't know how to describe it very well since it is just so different from the ones I'm used to. It isn't the first Isekai Ive read... Actually I have been on an Isekai kick lately so I really can say I haven't seen many with this theme. It meshes together the no game no life type thinking style with the pervy old gramps and then adds monsters and rumor mills with fantastic world twists....

Starting to sound good? Or is it making no sense? To be honest it is a little riddle for you that is solved in just the first 5 chapters! I mean... I can't tell you everything right? I do like how the poor book is taunted about his V-Card in both worlds though... It's kinda sad for him but oh so funny. Which also leads to the fact that it has a comedic value to it as well!

See why I said it is unique? It's almost like it couldn't make up it's mind on what it wanted to be and so it became everything. There is so much more going on in the first set of chapters I've read that I don't even know where I should start or end. All I do know is that I can't wait to see what happens next! After all... It seems that his brother has got something in store for him in this new place.

But before that I should rate it...

On a scale of 1 to 10 with ten being a "Perfect-Must-Read" rating I give this...
.
.
.
8
.
.
.
I gave it an 8 because I really liked it but there were times the art was hard to follow and a few parts of the story that seemed to come out of no where with no connections to the story line at all. But the parts of the story that you could follow easy were absolutely wonderful! I really liked the art style too so that helped it to not lose too much off the rating.

There is still a lot left to the story so I am gonna go read some more before going to bed... I really hope you check it out too!!!!!

As always... Thanx for reading my review!
Hope you have a fun filled fantasy day!!!

Demi-Chan wa Kataritai
.
Anime
.
Synopsis
.
.
High school biology teacher Tetsuo Takahashi may look like your average everyday instructor, but beneath his gentle appearance lies something less ordinary: his fascination for the "Ajin," more commonly known as "Demi." Although these half-human, half-monster beings have integrated into human society, Takahashi believes that much about them will remain unknown unless he interacts with them firsthand.

Demi-chan wa Kataritai follows Takahashi's daily life in Shibasaki High School together with his three Demi students—Hikari Takanashi, an energetic vampire; Kyouko Machi, a gentle dullahan; and Yuki Kusakabe, the shy snow woman. Along the way, Takahashi also meets fellow teacher Sakie Satou, a succubus with an aversion towards men. To fulfill his goal of learning more about the Demi, Takahashi decides to conduct casual interviews with the girls to learn more about their abilities, psyche, and interaction with human society. As Takahashi strengthens his bond with his students, he soon discovers that the Demi are not as unusual as he initially believed.

My review!!!

The Anime can be watched here...

This one reminded me instantly of Monster Misune... Well at first glance it did. There are definitely a lot of things different in it though. I do think that if you liked that one you will love this one. It's like we get to meet the kids lol.

I really like this one because it has a more relaxed home life kind of feel to it than I expected. There were also a few twists I wasn't expecting to see... Like what it means for a vampire to suck blood... Or how twin vampires can be.... wait.... Wait wait wait... If I give it all away in the review you won't have a reason to check it out!!! NO NO NO! You need to go watch it and find out for yourself what twin vampires can be... I won't tell!

I can tell you the rating it gained though... Here it is!

On a scale of 1 to 10 with ten being a "Perfect-Must-Watch" rating I give this...
.

.
10
.
.
.
That's right... It got a 10! The art was adorable, the story was amazing, and it had a range of emotions that you ended up going through because of it! I thought the funny parts were a mix of comedy and cuteness which I have found rare in the anime world.... Then again I might just be seeing all the wrong anime to find it... Who knows!

all I do know is that I want to binge the rest of it now soooo yeah... Bye!

As always... Thanx for reading my review!
Hope you have a fun filled and healthy day!!!

As tensions mount, the third prince of Yarke travels outside of his kingdom under a full moon only to encounter a beautiful woman. While the prince is charmed by her graceful appearance, she isn't all that he seems.

My review!!!

The Manga can be read here...

I'm sure you've noticed that the site I used for the title and for the synopsis this time isn't MyAnimeList. I couldn't find it on there so I used Baka-Updates. This might happen from time to time but I hope you all find it just as good as before! Now lets get the review going!!!

I really wasn't sure what I was going to think of this one. The title is a bit odd to me. Probably since I'm Pagan, but still. When I read it all I could think of is discrimination. This could also be because myself and one of my daughters are going through some discrimination for being witches right now. So unfortunately I was sure I was going to hate this one.

Oh Boy... Right?

Not quite... I ended up getting to 23 out of over 50 chapters before I realized I hadn't written the review! It is actually a love story... Yup... Imagine my surprise! I was like wait... huh??? Don't get me wrong... There is still discrimination and stereotypes to deal with but ultimately it's about forbidden love between a few people. Not all the people seek their lover the right way either... If rape bothers you then I would say you don't want to read this.

There is one straight up rape in it and a lot of the "you have to cause I'm royal" acts to deal with. It's crazy at times too. But the art is good and the story makes a lot of sense. I feel bad for our main witch... he... yes he... lost his.... um you know what.. If you wanna know what he lost then you really should go check it out! I think it's worth investigating!

And you should also investigate my rating for this lil' gem!

On a scale of 1 to 10 with ten being a "Perfect-Must-Read" rating I give this...
.
.
.
7
.
.
.
It got a 7 because even though the story is good as a whole, there are times when it gets hard to follow. And there are times when the art gets a tiny bit confusing. I really wanted to give it a higher rating because as a whole it is very captivating and you can't help but want to know what happens next!

I can't wait to read more of it so I'm gonna go and read a few more chapters while I still can! Hope you check it out!!

As always... Thanx for reading my review!
Hope you have a love filled day!!!
