On the 6th year of making this list I think I will just have one link at the top to bring you to a list of the previous years... I'm not sure yet and I have another couple of years to decide...
Let me know what you think I should do!

Also... I'm sure you noticed that there are months that are either missing one or all of the normal posts. Those are the months that I had a lot of issues and didn't manage to pull myself together in time to do the posts I had planned. I moved the missing posts to the next year's list. I'm really sorry about all that! I'll do better in 2019!!!

That's all for this post! Hope this helps you quickly find the review you are looking for!

As always... Thanx for reading my posts this past year!

Happy New Year!!!

Synopsis
.

In the year 2010 AD, Hyper Hurricanes born concurrently all over the world caused severe damage. Five billion people lost their lives, decreasing the world's population to 3 billion. Existing economies and military were wiped out. Countries were frozen under solid ice, plains sank beneath seas, the world was changed dramatically.

Human civilization enters a chaotic era. Poverty flourished outside of these economic zones and slums were widespread. The ruling class called themselves Logos and maintained their position by force of arms. They call the poor Revenus, who are exiled to live outside the special economic areas.

Time has passed since then. Katsuragi Jo and Tsurasawa Jin, escape from Phantom, a force organized to watch Revenus and to suppress renegade elements of the Logos, taking with them a mysterious girl, Nobuto Sana. There are many who are interested in her, all with their own reasons.

My review!!!

The Anime can be watched on WatchAnime ...

I know I really like this anime even though I have to deal with a zillion pop up ads to watch it. I never thought in a million years I would find one that grabbed hold of me that tight and refused to let go... It is just he right mix of some  of my favorite types of anime without being overpowered with one or another genre... It reminds me a lot of anime I used to watch with my Ex-Boyfriend so I may be feeling this way because of those nice memories.

But back to the anime... Innocent Venus is a mystery to me even after watching the 5 episodes... I know it is a story about protecting a young girl from a few different... Enemies? I don't know who the good guys are or who the bad guys are... It seems that some of the good guys were once bad guys but some of the bad guys are actually good guys from the start pretending to be bad guys... I think... See it is kinda confusing... I don't know if that is because I was plagued with ads or if I just missed something. Needless to say it is very interesting trying to figure out who is on what team lol

Speaking of figuring out.. Let me show you the rating I figured out for this one..

On a scale of 1 to 10 with ten being a "Perfect-Must-Watch" rating I give this...
.
.
.
9
.
.
.
That's right... A 9 is what I gave it... I know... If I am so lost why does it get a nine? It's because the story caught and held my attention even with all the ads and the confusion... This is one I am actually going to buy for my collection as soon as possible so I can watch it and see if I can understand it any better. That should tell you how good it was! That's all for now!

As always... Thanx for reading my review!
Hope you have a Mysteriously fun day!!!

MyAnimeList says...

A long time ago...

There was a disease that would cause nightmares and kill people. Doctors and wizards threw in the towel, unable to find a cure. All of a sudden, mysterious magicians appeared. These magicians ate the nightmares of those who suffered from them. It was said that those who had their dreams eaten were able to sleep peacefully.

This is the story of "Baku."

MangaPark says...

Baku
Takeshi Uesugi finds out that he is the reincarnation of the "Baku," a spirit that devours people's nightmares.

Mephisto
A young man "helps" ghosts, demons, and other supernatural spirits while struggling to care for his own little family.

My review!!!

The manga this week can be found on here...

I'm starting this review a bit early... Sort of! For you I guess it should be counted as being on time right? So the reason I say it is early is because I am having issues viewing the story on this laptop... I really need to get a new one or a new computer because this is getting ridiculous!

Because of these difficulties I am going to review it as I read it... I think this time it will just be easier that way... And come on let's face it... You would love to see if and how my opinion of a Manga or an Anime changes as I watch or read it right? It's okay I get it lol!

So I have read the first chapter and because of how long it took me to load it I have to admit I really didn't even want to look at it. I load all images at once because it actually has an easier time loading them that way but even so this time it was really LONG!!! But it isn't the loading the page that takes so long... It was the scrolling from one image to the next! so maybe I have to try to load it with less images at once in the next chapter so I can see if that works better.

When I started reading I really did fall in love with the main character... I mean he is mysterious and kind and willing to die for others happiness! Who wouldn't fall in love with someone like that???

So that's it for the sneak peek into chapter one... Starting chapter two!

And the verdict is... Soooooo much easier if I load 10 images at a time instead of all of them.... And wow the story gets sooooo INTENSE in this chapter! There are sword fights and love scenes and OMG the feels!!! Gatta start the next chapter right now... I can't wait!!!

Wow... One family traded for another but in actuality it was a return to an original family that had been traded out??? Yeah I know that sounds soooooo confusing but it really isn't that hard to get when you read it!

Next chapter... Let's go!!!

OOOOO it's like a second story!!!! And this one is interesting too... Very family based... Makes me sad and happy at the same time... Next chapter!!!

So the last two chapters are part of the same story... I cried at the end. I used to have a doll that had a spirit... No joke... I have pictures of her walking across my room!!! It's crazy to think she might have been hurt when she was passed on to my Neice to keep her company. I do hope she found happiness even though it wasn't possible to keep her with me... So the last story really hit home with me... And now it is time to rate them!!!

On a scale of 1 to 10 with ten being a "Perfect-Must-Read" rating I give this...
.
.
.
10
.
.
.
I couldn't help it... The stories were great and the art was nice and I really felt for the characters so it really was an easy 10. You should really check it out though because you will never know what I'm talking about until you do!

Time to go!

As always... Thanx for reading my reviews!
Hope you have an amazing and fun day!

Synopsis
.
.
The great detective Holmes does not solve mysteries or use deductive reasoning. He does, however, hunt vampires. Using three-minute episodes, Vampire Holmes retells the story of the great Holmes and his assistant. What begins as an ordinary detective agency takes a turn for the occult when the Metropolitan Police of London secretly hire Holmes and Hudson to investigate vampires.

Or at least that's what Holmes would tell anyone who asks. In reality, he and Hudson spend most of their time sitting around arguing, and failing to solve any cases. Joined by the not-so-black, demon cat Kira, and their terrifying rent-hungry landlady, this is the story of the man who was most definitely not London's greatest detective.

My review!!!

The Anime can be watched on youtube...

I'm not going to give a link to this one because I have had a few issues when it comes to even being able to review it!

Lets start with the most obvious problem... Finding it! The site I originally found the title on shut down and I could NOT find it anywhere for a long time... Then I got lucky and found the first three episodes on YouTube. When that trail went cold I called it quits and started writing this post.

The episodes are 3 minutes long so it didn't take long to watch the three I found... There are supposed to be a total of 12 with the last few bringing everything together but I fear I will never know. If I am being honest I don't feel this one is worth the time since I spent so much time trying to find it and still have no idea what is happening in it because I didn't get to the point where anything made sense before I ran out of episodes to watch!

All in all I don't know if this is a fair review of this one or not... Who knows... It may just not be allowed in my country and because of that I can't review it properly... If you have seen all 12 please let me know what you think because I'd be interested to find out if it is worth another attempt at a hunt!

Speaking of hunt... I'm not going to make you hunt down my rating... here it is!

On a scale of 1 to 10 with ten being a "Perfect-Must-Watch" rating I give this...
.
.
.
3
.
.
.
Like I have said many times... This may be the most unfair review I have ever done... I'll at least explain why I gave it such a bad rating...

So each episode was way tooooo short for my liking... I don't mind the short ones if I have enough of them to fill at least a half hour... But this set of three I could find only took about 9 minutes to watch all of them.... I think it's a waste if it isn't at least 5 minutes each episode unless something epic happens in each episode... But I can't even say that about these ones... so it made the show take a major hit in the rating department... Then there is the fact that it doesn't make sense till much later in the show and there is always the chance the viewer won't be able to find all the episodes. That leaves them very confused making it even harder to give a good rating.... In total... The two biggest things for me didn't get met and that is why I only gave it a three.

Anyhow... I think I'll end this here... Check it out to see what I'm talkin about!
Oh and if you do check it out... Good luck finding it!

As always... Thanx for reading my review!
Hope you have an inquisitive and interesting day!

What's new pussycat??? UPDATES!!!!!

Time for an interview with yours truly!!!

Let's start with talking about my life and how it's going... This year has been a crap-shoot... I haven't been able to keep up with my blog at all toward the end of the year... Nor have I been able to get back on track with my YouTube channel.... With only a month left to 2018 I don't think I am going to be able to get back to where I should be... It won't be easy but my mom always said that anything work doing is never easy to do. I believe her!

So what I was thinking is that I would do all I can manage until the new year and then I would drop back into things the way they are supposed to be at least on the blog for reviews. If I can manage that good enough then I want to go back to making videos regularly by my birthday... Until then I will make them as I can. I just know if I try to do to many fixes at once I won't get any done right.

There are a lot of things I am good at and a LOT of things I'm not good at... Unfortunately one of those things I'm not so good at is keeping a schedule when I'm stressed out. I'm really sorry to all of you that watch my videos that I have been gone for over a year, but I'm working on it I promise!

What is stressing me out you ask.... Life in general is stressful but when I started having trouble was when we moved from Berlin NH to Derry.... I think the move was the catalyst that caused me some issues but I was still able to make a few videos... Then we moved again and I haven't really been able to manage anything well... So now that we are settled and I am starting to destress I think it will be possible to start all the fun again. I hope you will all stick with me as I start again,,, And just so you know... I am thankful to you all for that ahead of time.

Anyway... I'm sorry again that I've slacked and Thank you again for all of you that stuck around!
As always... Thanks for reading my posts!!!
Hope you have a wonderful day!

Synopsis
.
.
Inspired after watching a volleyball ace nicknamed "Little Giant" in action, small-statured Shouyou Hinata revives the volleyball club at his middle school. The newly-formed team even makes it to a tournament; however, their first match turns out to be their last when they are brutally squashed by the "King of the Court," Tobio Kageyama. Hinata vows to surpass Kageyama, and so after graduating from middle school, he joins Karasuno High School's volleyball team—only to find that his sworn rival, Kageyama, is now his teammate.

Thanks to his short height, Hinata struggles to find his role on the team, even with his superior jumping power. Surprisingly, Kageyama has his own problems that only Hinata can help with, and learning to work together appears to be the only way for the team to be successful. Based on Haruichi Furudate's popular shounen manga of the same name, Haikyuu!! is an exhilarating and emotional sports comedy following two determined athletes as they attempt to patch a heated rivalry in order to make their high school volleyball team the best in Japan.

My review!!!

The Anime can be watched on here...

So I haven't really liked many manga or anime that were centered around sports but every now and then one sneaks in that I actually end up loving! This one seems to be one of those... Well actually I lied... It doesn't seem to be... It is one of those... I ended up watching around 30 episodes before I realized I hadn't written this review yet!

So now I am trying to figure out how i'm going to tell you exactly how and why this anime is so cool... It isn't flashy like Kuroko's Basketball is but it is just as gripping... It's like you get sucked into the game and forget that it's all drawings and not living people... The character development just feels real!

Granted that happens in Kuroko's basketball too but I always thought the reason I loved that one was the flashy way the shots were drawn... See it's kinda hard not to get sucked in when you see a light trail after a ball and lightning in players eyes... But in this one those tricks weren't used so I didn't think I would get this into it... Boy was I wrong!!! I still wanna be watching and not writing!

Speaking of watching it... Watch what I rate it!

On a scale of 1 to 10 with ten being a "Perfect-Must-Watch" rating I give this...
.
.
.
9
.
.
.
I really want to give it a 10 but I feel like I can't because I don't know how it ends... For me with sport anime or sport manga I need to finish it before I can say if it is actually a 10 because so much is happening all at once that it is really hard to figure out if the ending is going to be a good one. Some other types of anime or manga are just too predictable.

There is one thing that is predictable in this one... There is a rivalry between two schools right from the start but there is a twist on that too so it's only slightly predictable!

I really like this one and i am rooting for the crows!!

Anyhow... I think I'll end this here... Check it out to see what I'm talking about!

As always... Thanx for reading my review!
Hope you have an active and interesting day!

Content with her ordinary life, Lyra is somewhat of a wallflower. However, her comfortable lifestyle suddenly goes astray when she accidentally plunges into the world of sirens. Entangled in a curse, Lyra will learn that her world may be a lot bigger than she had ever imagined.

My review!!!

The manga this week can be found on here...

WebToon: Siren's Lament

I'm sure you are all going crazy trying to figure out why I'm reviewing a webtoon right? I mean isn't this supposed to be an Anime and MANGA review... So what does a webtoon think it's doing on here. To be honest it is a manga and the mangaka chose the Webtoon platform to share it with us! Add that to the fact that the other site I was using (Bato.to) closed down and I figured I needed to find somewhere new.. This is the site I chose!

So now that you know why it is here and can expect to see more of them in the future...Why not start reviewing it!

Let's start with these three hotties!!!

Their names are Ian (white haired bombshell!) Lyra (Lovely lady in the middle) and Shon (redheaded hottie extraordinaire!). Yeah I know I like them all both looks and in personality!

The basics of the story are in the very brief and bland synopsis above... But that is what MyAnimeList had on this one so it is what I showed. I'll tell you a little bit more than they did. So Sirens are the Ocean's playground.... Wait.... Strike that and reverse it... Ocean's are the Siren's playground! Much better!
Humans sometimes end up in their playground and a siren will take advantage of it. But sometimes things don't go how they are supposed to...

In Ian's case that is exactly what happened! Lyra was supposed to be right where Ian wanted her but something went wrong. Ian played his part well and drew her in like he was supposed to... Drew in for the kiss of the century as far as he was concerned.
But there was something about it that didn't go as planned... No way could she have resisted this pretty boy... right? Yeah that is what I was saying!

So how then did something go wrong and what exaxtly went wrong... They had to stick together and work out the problem... All while still trying to keep true to the Siren's Curse!
I's a curse to have to rate it but here it is!

On a scale of 1 to 10 with ten being a "Perfect-Must-Read" rating I give this...
.
.
.
10
.
.
.
Yes this one got a 10... How could it not???
Look at them!!! Gorgeous I tell you... The art is just captivating... Oh but I forgot to tell you about the last one in our little trio... Shon!

While Lyra and Ian were getting closer Shon was worrying about his little lady... Though he forgot to tell her that he felt that way! Then it happened... Lyra was in a lot of trouble and Shon stepped up to the plate to save the day!!! With a single kiss he stole the curse from Lyra... Oh no!

But omg look at that gorgeous face and those eyes!!!! I could die happy looking into those eyes... Unfortunately even him saving Lyra had drawbacks and terrible side effects!

But for that you have to read the webtoon!
Trust me it is so worth it!!!

That's all... I hope you enjoyed hearing my opinion even though I didn't give anything away that would really impact you...

Oh yeah... Before I go I wanna show you the ship I wish would sail....

As always... Thanx for reading my reviews!
Hope you have an amazing and fun day!

My review!!!

The Anime can be watched on here...

I have to admit I watched this a long time ago with my son... I really enjoyed it so I didn't mind starting it again! That in itself is saying something about how good it really is. I love how they put the harem together! To really understand how the dynamic of this harem is so great you really need to watch it.

Speaking of watching it... Watch what I rate it!

On a scale of 1 to 10 with ten being a "Perfect-Must-Watch" rating I give this...

Yup it got a high rating... I would have given higher but I remember wanting more from the last episode I watched with my son. I know it's animated wonderfully and the fight scenes were amazing to watch for me... Mainly that's cause I don't like fight scenes but I loved these ones!

Over all I love this and I love how our young man handles his harem... At times I really did think something might come of the romances but at the same time I feel like it won't go anywhere... That curiosity makes me want to watch more!

I really do think you should check it out because I can't do it justice trying to tell you how good it is without giving something away. I hope you enjoy it  and share what you thought in my comment section!

Anyhow... I think I'll end this here... Check it out to see what I'm talking about!

By the mangaka of Kare Kano comes a new historical comedy. The comedy story is set in an ultra-prestigious middle school at the height of Edo-era Tokyo, over 150 years ago. It centers around a son of the ruling Tokugawa clan's Mito family and a daughter of an elite Tokugawa shogun.

My review!!!

The manga this week can be found on MangaPark...

MangaPark: Chotto Edo Made

So this one was a very big challenge for me... I don't usually like historical manga... They are kinda hard for me to follow sometimes... Not always but sometimes. Anyhow this time was like that... I read the 5 chapters I always read and I really don't get the story at all... It feels like I'm following around the character but there is no point to where it is going. I could be wrong and there is actually a really deep meaning or something but it eludes me!

There were a few things I did understand though... 1) The father that dies in the beginning is a... ummmm How to say it.... I guess the nicest way is player. Though I'm sure that wasn't a huge thing back then like it is now. 2) This should also carry a gender bender label!!! 3) Even though I couldn't figure out the story-line, it wasn't a bad read... And that is saying something!
Here's something else I should be saying too... Here's the rating!

On a scale of 1 to 10 with ten being a "Perfect-Must-Read" rating I give this...
.
.
.
8
.
.
.
I said this earlier... It wasn't a bad read. The art was beautiful and the characters were likable in so many ways! I kind of wish I understood this kind of manga a little more because every time I read one I always feel like I'm missing out on something really cool. I'll keep trying to find one I'm interested in enough to want to read it all the way through but for now I haven't found it.

Even though it isn't my cup of tea I don't think you should judge it till you have read the first 5 or so chapters for yourself! Oh, and if you really like it then please consider supporting the Mangaka by buying the manga... Here I'll even give you a link to the first book here...

Amazon: Chotto Edo Made

And if you really like the Mangaka then check out some of thier other works... I'll link you to their Amazon page...

Masami Tsuda

There... I hope you find everything you need for this manga and this Mangaka with those links I've given you but if you have any other questions let me know and I will find answers if I can. Hope that helps a bit!
That's all... I hope you enjoyed hearing my opinion even though I didn't give anything away that would really impact you...

As always... Thanx for reading my reviews!
Hope you have an amazing and fun day!
